RE: 2by3 Games: Please Do "War in the Mediterranean"

I would like to play WITM against the AI. Still a novice at WITP. Think it would be a great expansion, better than WIR and although I would no help to anyone in the development apart from a "beta" tester  I would love to see it.

Midway

<t> Can someone please point me in the right direction for information please.<br/>
I am trying to set up Midway as an advanced submarine base with AS support.<br/>
Midway is currently a size 2 port (nearly size 3 - 60%) over 30k in supplies and fuel.<br/>
However it won't let me disband any tf's ...

RE: Allied Oil Requirements

<t> That was exactly the mistake I made. I had seen the cargo task forces track the long way round to avoid jap subs near Aussie ports to supply PM. I hope that AE does implement this change as it seems stupid to carry out a recon of a jap held island and then ignore that intel!<br/>
Having said ...

RE: British ships

<t> I know what you mean, some funny movements by LCU and air units. I put quite a few AK's under computor control for automatic convoys. They just sat there doing nothing apart from the one which tried to get to Perth. Got hit by japs off DEI<br/>
I revise the computor stratery tonight and take ...

RE: British ships

I agree that there are threads about how to do this, I was just wondering if the computors did it for you when you had that area under computor control.
I asked the question because when I did a search I couldn't find that particular answer.
Cheers for the reply

RE: buy pacific wargame or wait for ae?

<t> I like you played UV for many years. I have now moved to WITP. But I have only been playing for less than a month. Lot more to think about and plan.<br/>
I would go for WITP now and apply the patches. <br/>
I also think that you have to have WITP before you can add AE, but others with greater ...

RE: Allied Oil Requirements

<t> Thanks for all the imput. I&nbsp;started to move oil to Australia, but&nbsp;kept the tankers togeather. I&nbsp;hoped to&nbsp;distribute the oil from Sydney/Perth etc by sea.<br/>
Made the mistake of not reviewing my task force direction and landed it straight into the path of some jap bombers ...

British ships

I am playing the stock 15 scenario.
I am playing against the jap AI.
As I am new to the game I have left the Indian/Chinese areas in computor control.
Question
Does it automatically withdraw the british units or do I have to withdraw them myself?

<t> Thanks for all the info - I took all the fuel/supply that I could muster out of PI but didn't take any oil. <br/>
Didn't even think about it. I didn't even think about oil for India either, so thats a useful bit of info.<br/>

Allied Oil Requirements

<t> Quick question on a stock scenario (15)<br/>
Do you still have to supply the allied bases with oil.<br/>
I thought that it was on auto (Allied production On) but when I checked some bases it said that they required some oil!<br/>
Could someone direct me to the ref in the manual or the forum ...

In stock, don't you have to resupply (replenish)&nbsp;and that gives you the op points for sorties?
