RE: Why was the AI programmed to cheat?

<t> Ok, I understand the why the WA hit me in 42. Fair enough. But I have played the Japs while Germany was an AI and if I do not go off the coast, much less attack Russia the German war goes pretty much the same way it did during the actual war. An attack on Russia is supposed to put pressure on ...

Why was the AI programmed to cheat?

<t> I am playing a game against the comp where I am japan and the computer is Germany. I have been doing very well against Russia, attacking it on the first turn and I had over run China by 1942.<br/>
<br/>
My first complaint is that Germany is doing nothing, and I believe it was programmed to do ...

Why are Jap tanks such crap

<t> I have gotten the Jap tanks to 11/11 but when they go up against Russian tanks they get massacred even though the Russians were at 9/9. I saw that part of there defense is inherently bad, but is there NO way of overcoming that? Are Jap tanks just not a real possibility?<br/>

I would also ...

RE: I lost my seriel number

THANK YOU!

I apolagize for being short with you, I was just very frustrated at the whole thing.

I am switching my new comp back now, I have no reason to believe that this won't work.

THANKS AGAIN!

It should be on the cover that the CD is in. You can also find the number in the registry of your old computer (if you still have access to it).

RE: I lost my seriel number

<t> I have looked everywhere for the sleeve that the game came in, but I can not find it. I looked on my C drive, thinking perhaps when I first put it in that it got saved somewhere. I never registered the game, and I bought it on Amazon.<br/>

I lost my seriel number

<t> I just got a new comp, and wanted to download the game to it. I didn't keep the box or anything other than the rulebook and disc after I downloaded the game initialy. Is there anywhere else I can find the seriel number in the rulebook, on the disk, or even in the disk?<br/>

RE: Attacking Russia From the Middle East

<t> You are right about the supplies, but you are not looking at the scope of the war. In N Africa Rommel usualy had less than 200 tanks (and 200 was on a REALLY good day). On the Eastern front 200 tanks could get eaten up in a weeks fighting. Only when N. Africa was lost did Hitler commit a large ...

RE: How does population work?

<t> I have noticed with the Germans that some turns I will have a huge pool, others I don't have much of anything. What you said about 1 point being replaced makes sense to me now. But does my population get taxed more if I keep max production going? To me, it just seems to keep going down the more ...

Attacking Russia From the Middle East

<t> I have always thought that the best strategy that Germany could of had in the real war was to postpone war with the Russians and focus efforts in Africa, push up through the middle east and take caucus (as a joint attack on the eastern front starts). I have done this quite a few times and it ...

How does population work?

The rule book does a really poor job of explaining population "pools". Is it set on a historical basis? How do I impove it? Can it be improved? Why do conquered factories show a population when all you can produce is research or supply?

Any help would be great.

How do you win with Japan?

<t> Granted, I am a German WW2 nut as far as history goes. So when I play Japan I looked at it more of what the japs should have done rather than what did happen. Namely, dec 41 japan should have declared war on Russia and attacked. That is the only way I have played them so far, and I do not get ...

Some help please

<t> I have been playing this game for about 4 months now, but after the first 2 weeks I lost the rule book. If anyone has a link to get a copy I would appreciate it.<br/>

But I have a few questions if you don't mind.<br/>
