RE: Scraping Units

scrap hard and scrap often
there are some exceptions though

-the 0 cost CV air units can be very useful to help with gearing limits
-the 4 move german INF is more mobile then many. Useful to get Denmark quickly. Also then helps garrison ratios

RE: Spending surprise points

<t> Difficult question to answer as so much depends on the strategic situitation. A couple of general guides include<br/>
1) the air to air combat table offers diminishing returns once you are in the positive range. <br/>
2) the US can (generally) afford to take more losses than JP due to ...

<t> France MUST be conquered as quickly and cheaply as possible. If you get bogged down in France then you will lose the game. The French look like toast now. Looks like you will be able to get a bit of the BEF at the same time.<br/>

If you have 7 odd meters of wall space then fantastic but it is otherwise just bling. Having said that.... I don't have the wall space but had to get them anyway !!

RE: Embarking units to an off-shore TRS

To embark a unit to an at sea TRS that TRS must have moved into the sea area that impulse. You cannot move a TRS in ,say, impulse 1 and then try and embark in a later impulse.

Hopefully this helps.

RE: Production Planning

Sorry if this has been discussed previously but the CW countries seem to be a very similar colour to the sea areas and thus very difficult to differentiate.

RE: A few questions about the rules

<t> <br/>
I am somewhat embarised about this rules query but will ask anyway. We are engaged in an aerial naval combat (be this a port attack or a regular naval air). There are some surprise points left to spend. After all air to air, some bombers are cleared through to attack. Implementation of ...

RE: A few questions about the rules

<r> I must admit that I play this differently. The rules state that regular combat is interrupted and thus the results of the bounce combat are applied prior to the continuation of normal air to air combat. As you say in your post, the odds are recalculated after bounce combat. The only way for odds ...
