RE: Windows mode

The FX was a brain fart, I am entitled at my age. Should have read XP.

Thanks for the answer but what I am trying to find out is what my screen should look like with -w vs what I see normally.

I put the -w on the command line and see no difference.

RE: Shipyard repair points at Pearl

I am trying to keep my Carriers with low system damage. I rotate them through Pearl when they get 5 or more system damage. At least I used to.

2. If you have a AGC with an amphibous command on board in the TF it will automatically unload a portion of the AC on first contact with the hex to be invaded. This even if you check "Do Not Unload" for that TF. This is part of the quirk in ...

RE: Advice, please.

<t> Supposedly if you have an AGC with a amphibous command loaded it will help reduce casaulities. I have tried to use this but there are problems.<br/>
1. You can only load Amphibous commands on an AGC at SF. If the AC is in any other location it will not load on an AGC, it will load onto a AK, AP ...

RE: Iowa class bb vs yamato class

The fire control computer for the main battery in the late 50's was the same mechanical analog computer on the ship when she was commissioned. I think the radars might have been improved by that time but I know the comuter was the same.

RE: Iowa class bb vs yamato class

<t> I did a midshipman cruise on the Iowa in the 50's. The accuracy of the Iowa's 16" guns is hard to beleive. We did a firing exercise at a target sled. The sled was over 20,000 yards. The Iowa fired one salvo of 16" blind loaded (solid shot) at the sled. Exercise over, no more sled. This was ...
