RE: Unit continue attack !!!

Fulcrum, have you tried editing the scenario and changing the attrition divider?

Do you get heavy losses during the combat? if not maybe the attriotion divider is set too high, and perhaps this is the intention of the developer, to allow only one or two rounds per turn.

Another thought on rounds

<t> In classic wargames you could order an attack and wait for its result before you move the rest of your units, without any time penalty. This is unrealistic.<br/>
<br/>
TOAW tries to solve this by the round system. If you order combats, then you must wait till they are resolved to place new ...

As far as I know engineers will only be helpful to speed up entrenchment

As an engineer I would tend to disagree. I am quite helpfull at helping my kids drive their mother crazy.

Thanks Ralph.

It is quite a luxury to actually be able to talk to the programer and get things clarified about how the game engine works.

RE: possible TOAW bug?

One question, during combat you loose some units, but not all are permanently lost, a part of them go back to the replacement pool.

The question is, does the losses on the table count only the permanent losses, or also the ones that go back to the replacement pool?

RE: Taking the system on faith

I personally would want to know the details of how the engine works, not only on combat but also on supply distribution (where does Formation efficiency comes to place, or the number of supply units still at had in an HQ unit).
