HQs and Detection Levels

Does the detection level of an HQ unit in a hex affect the effectiveness of attacks on that hex (13.1 and 13.2.1)? I ask because it seems that HQ are harder to detect – their detection level seems to go up more slowly than other units in a hex when moved adjacent to.

Auto update worked fine. Fired it up vs the AI, 1.03 all the way.

Interesting that when logging into multiplayer the message "A newer version [1.02] is available" pops up. [&:] Haven't played mp in Slitherene yet, so maybe this is known.

Interesting idea. May I suggest whoever does this agree on using only one or two sources, heavy on maps, for use in determining what is "historic". Otherwise it may degenerate into arguing what happened in history before it ever gets translated into game moves.
