RE: If the game crashes on launch PLEASE READ THIS

I had an issue where the intro screen would briefly flash white, then crash. Closing Cortana fixed the issue

RE: Japanese planes on BR ship?

I actually had te same problem in a stock Scen 15 campaign. It pretty much happens every time a ship-based squadron upgrades. LIke it was said, this is no game breaker though.

RE: Stuck in Chunking!

Finally I was able to move the troops again after something like 3 weeks of having them stuck. I guess it was a supply thing then :-P

Thx for the replies,

RE: Stuck in Chunking!

<r> <br/>
I already tried to leave them there until the supply catches up (goes back to the white zone). Didn't work. I tried moving to both Chinese and Jap-controlled hexes, with one units, multiple units or all units, but none of this work. <br/>

I think that this could be a bug. I do see ...

Stuck in Chunking!

<t> <br/>
Hello all,<br/>
<br/>
I'm playing a campaign game (scen. 15, japs) against the AI. We're early december 1942 and I took Chunking about 2 weeks ago. Now it seems that all the troops that took Chunking are stuck there. I cannot move them out. As soon as I do, they revert to "no move" the ...

RE: WitP or WiF?

I've been playing the boardgame for years consistently and will probably buy it when it comes out. I'm rather a newbie at WitP though

RE: empty CVE Hosho

<t> Well I've put the Taiyo in an ACTF by herself at tokyo and I tried to transfer planes from the AF there, but still I do not see the Taiyo as a valid target for the AC. I Noticed that the AC on all my CV are indepedent, while the Land-Based carrier-capable AC are attached to the Home defense ...

RE: empty CVE Hosho

<t> One last question. How do I transfer any aircraft to the Taiyo then? If I go to the Aircraft squadron menu and I choose "Transfer to ship" for the squadron, the Taiyo is never shown as a possible target ship. I tried with carrier-capable squadrons, but it does not work. Actually the only ...

RE: empty CVE Hosho

Oops my bad! I checked again and it's not the Hosho that's empty (it's as Terminus says above, Claudes & Kates), but the Taiyo. Anyways, I still have the same question as above.

Thx,

empty CVE Hosho

<t> <br/>
I'm playing scen 15 as JP. It is Jan 31th 1942 and I just realized that CVE Hosho is sitting empty in Osaka. I never used it directly since the beginning (it was on auto-convoy escort before). Is this normal? Where are the planes that go on it? Are they coming just later as reinforcements ...

<r> Cool, thx for the replies!<br/>

Actually I'm playing Jap, and I did notice a big difference between first bombing the crap out of Singapour for a few days before attacking with LCUs vs. only doing ground attacks with A/C. Sing fell so much more easily and quickly. Now Bataan <SM sm ...

Noob question: Aircraft use to reduce chokepoints

<t> <br/>
Hi All,<br/>
<br/>
First post. I'm playing scen 15 stock for the first time and I have a question about using aircrafts to reduce chokepoints (e.g. Sing. or Battan as Jap). Is is better to use them doing ground attacks to disrupt the defendig troops, or to do port/airfield strikes in ...
