Re: 1.03 TOE Errata

I can offer these.

Thanks, I'm looking for something similar to the 11.9.1943 order which must have existed prior to 19. May.

Very interesting that the 170 KSTN was backdated to 20.05.43, even though it did not exist in June.

Thank you for the Mortar order, the 5 s.Gr.W. Bats must be the 5, 9 ...

Re: 1.03 TOE Errata

@Wiedrock
have you run across any collections with the KSTN lists for Infantry Divisions from mid 43? In Tsamo they are scattered around and I don't have the time to go browsing randomly.

Not in a comprehensive way, if you mean 1by1 Infantry authorized KSTN Lists. For the ID44 and...I think ...

355. Infantry Division on 14. June 1943 when sent to the East.

The PaK should be all 7.5cm.

Per 1.04.14 Beta all the 4/43 organisations seem to still have the 50mm.

From the KSTN list for the pionier thread ...

Re: 1944 Heeres Pionier Brigades and Battalions

In the absence of KSTN's, strength reports are an alternative source of information

Here I found He Pio Bat 635 from 1.10.43

Soll 834 men, 37 MG (so must have 1 lMG per Squad, but still 4 spare MG somewhere).

Re: 1944 Heeres Pionier Brigades and Battalions

- already had 2 lMG per Squad, probably there needs to be an analogue to the Panzer Pionier Kp without the SPW for Motorised units going back to beginning of the war.

Yep, that's about what I reported here I think.

Thanks, so Niehorster thinks 1 lMG per squad for 712 Pioniers until mid 42 ...

I see, finally the requested documents were digitalized. ;)

check:
RH 15/1214
RH 15/1215
RH 15/934
RH 15/935
RH 15/944
...for possibly some new infos in Pioneers ...sadly no KSTNs amongst them, so all KANs, but one can derive some KSTN info of that as well.
....So now looking for random luck in ...

1944 Heeres Pionier Brigades and Battalions

Manpower of the current (Heeres-) Pioneer Bats are too high for late 1944. We seem to be missing a 1944 Pioner Bat TOE.

Current in game totals
41 Pioneer Bat: 948
42 Pioneer Bat: 948
43a Pioneer Bat: 990
43b Pioneer Bat: 1008

per 23.10.1944 planning

The Heeres Pionier Bat (mot) had 3 motorized ...

Re: Maintaining Offensive Momentum

My recollection is that Gary has always said that CPP would benefit defending artillery (due to having pre-ranged in possible targets). I thought (hope) this was mentioned somewhere in the rules. If you found that non-artillery units were also getting a benefit in combat, that would be news to me ...

Re: Soviet Rifle Squad 43 Manpower increase to 11Men [ID:797]

It appears as if seriously at least every Front cooked their completely own soup.
Most Company sizes seem to have been reduced over time in mid 43 till mid 44 from ~141Men to 60-70Men with varying Squad compositions. All other assets of the Divisions seem to have been largely untouched (at ...

Re: Soviet captured weapons in German service

With Beutenummer it was a mostly unchanged russian gun, FK36/39 were still using the original ammo but had multiple modifications to the carriage . Pak36/39 had a bored-out chamber to accept the longer Pak 40 ammo but that ammo had to be modified to fit into this gun (the driving bands were a tad ...

Re: Soviet captured weapons in German service

Those few Divisions have 3 ZiS-3 already in service.

Any idea why (see post above) the 288 (r) ...which was the ZiS-3, which in return was the (afaik) latest 76.2mm the Soviets had was so hard to get into units? I struggle to make sense of this fact having 594 in pools and only getting 95 into ...

German Corps HQ size

Just want to add that the basic structure of Soviet and German Corps are the same. There is nothing in the German Corps which justifies the 250 Support Squads. One can imagine this includes the various rear area workshops, security etc. which soaked up a large amount of manpower, but then there ...

Re: Soviet captured weapons in German service

IMO my posted list above is the number of Artillery guns that are given free for scrapping. I discounted this originally due to the large numbers of 388 (r) and 443 (r), but the complete lack of guns that were in long time large scale use like 414 (f), 416 (f) and 531 (f) IMO points to this ...

Re: Pak40 - Production and Exports

Not sure all German production is averaged out over 151 turns as otherwise collapse is programmed in.

Not all is. Its the number of turns for the production cycle for the Pak40. Start till end of war. So when the war ends by doing this you get the historic max and not 2k more being produced ...
