RE: Version 2.2 Update (Feb 11, 08)

<r> Just wanted to add... Those that complain about the time it takes for upgrades should remember that any upgrades are essentially 'free' add-ons. When you bought the game you paid for it as it was at that time. As such, you aren't really entitled to whine about&nbsp;slow updates.<br/>

RE: Maximum Football 2.0 a Disapointment

<t> Everyone's opinion is as valid as the next guys, and&nbsp;I'm sorry to hear that&nbsp;you're dissapointed. But from what you posted I'm guessing you were expecting something similar to Madden in graphics/gameplay style. MFB isn't that.<br/>

True. For something like this a seperate utility would probably be better than a game patch. There are already random name generators in various languages out there... If someone could just figure out a ...

RE: Player Names

Yeah, it would be nice to have such a utility...&nbsp;I'm working on some international teams (Japanese, Russian, etc.), and changing the names of all the players manually can be a chore. It's not that big of a deal, just time consuming.

RE: unis & stuff

<r> Actually you can do pretty well without any fancy programs. I use MSpaint, Irfanview and Print Shop Photo Pro (which my wife bought at the dollar store for 6 bucks). I know the better programs will give you better and faster results, but for a beginner they aren't needed.<br/>

RE: 7 man teams

<r> Okay. I don't know much about coding so I'll take your word for it. But it seems to me that changing the number of players on the field is just changing the number of variables that the program has to keep track of. And since the game can handle as many as 12 players per team, handling 7 (or 9 ...

Wow, that was a truly gruesome game in Green Bay. -12 degrees. Both teams deserve credit for enduring that one... and in overtime to boot! :)

I would have preferred the Packers, but the Giants earned it. :)

7 man teams

<r> How about an option to have 7 man teams for indoor leagues? The Continental Indoor Football League currently has this (I think they're the ony one). I was thinking of doing a CIFL league (it's a midwestern league and I live in the midwest <E>:)</E>), but I cant replicate it as exactly as I'd ...

Would that stadium file be the 'Merenge field' one? Thats the only one I can find on the FBMAX site, and the link to it is broken. :(
