HQ question

Would it be possible in a future patch, that when clicking on a HQ unit, it would hi-lite the units under its command on the main map?

RE: Very disappointed

<t> Mynok, maybe tankist is demoralized by hearing you guys pan the AI as you push your PBEM agenda. It can't be that great or you would all be of playing instead of hanging around here. Must be waiting for you opponent to get permission from the wife to have a turn. Good luck I'm going off to play ...

RE: Very disappointed

When I want to play, I want to play, I don't want to be waiting for some guy to get permission from his wife to do the next turn. Just curious, in a game this long head to head has anybody ever finished a game before somebody drops out ?[&:]

RE: Books with maps and strategies

I would recommend two books, both from the West Point Military History Series. "THE SECOND WORLD WAR ASIA AND THE PACIFIC" and "WEST POINT ATLAS FOR THE SECOND WORLD WAR ASIA AND THE PACIFIC" by Thomas E.Griess.Be sure to get both books. They compliment the game very well, excellent maps.

Anybody ever see "Beachhead" with Tony Curtis and Frank Lovejoy ? How about "Destination Burma" with Errol Flynn.

RE: Warships in the pacific war. Were these painted in camo?

I don't think they were in camo at the start of the war.Does anybody know approx, when camo started to appear? I would like to start the war with game supplied ship graphics, then switch to camo on a certain date, when appropriate.

HQ. Organization

What would be really helpful would be, if you could click on a HQs on the main map,and have units under its command hi-lited.Would this be possible in a future patch? Great game by the way,its a monster, but I love it.
