RE: Patch 06 - Public Beta - Build 1108c (build02)

<r> This is not a bug report, it's more like a feature request, or feature correction request.<br/>
<br/>
The new beta patch introduced the ability to reform LCUs. This is a very good feature, a long needed one. But I noticed that regardless of unit type/HQ/place of destruction all of them respawn ...

For me the biggest problem is the big white glow in the middle. I'm guessing it represents sunshine reflecting off the surface of water, but here it doesn't actually add anything to the background. I'd say that ...

GACK!!!!!! That hurts. Are we still using the overfast Zero's? I mean I get it that your pilots are good, but come on..... these were not novice pilots.

Earlier you were curious about the effectiveness of the A6M4. 'Thanks' to today's turn I have some hard data for you: (image attached)<br/>

3rd Ku S-1 with 45 A6M4 sweeped (at 20.000 feet) Rangoon from a distance of 4 hexes. Average exp of the group is 64.<br/>

RE: Accelerating plane research

<r> You can advance it a lot more....I did a 5 month acceleration of the A6M4 in the Reluctant Admiral mod. And this is not much! I could easily avance up the ki-44c by one year, only limited by a HR...<br/>

And there's more: You could easily move up the ki-100 by one and a half, maybe even ...

RE: Fast late war Zeros

<t> It's not that hard to do... The A6M3 comes at 2/42, so if you set research on day 1 you can have a lot of factories repaired by that time, and then you just need to change them along the upgrade line. 8 factories with 30 research points/month should bring up availability twice per month (in my ...

RE: Fast late war Zeros

No, my game is in '42 september. I got the plane in July. (I'm researching both A6M lines very heavily)

The type did not see too much combat, but they did well against the H81-A3 and early hurricanes (markedly better than the A6M2)

RE: Fast late war Zeros

<t> I'm using the A6M4 for a month or two now, it's much better than the A6M3b (which was a disappointment for me compared to the A6M2). The Ho-103 is a great increase in firepower. Unfortunately I cannot comment on their performance against 4E bombers as I have yet to engage them.<br/>

RE: Getting the Bugs Out

<r> We're in '42 august, almost september. I'm not too concerned either, on-map training mostly solves the "problem". But I don't know how would this effect me if I'd have a full scale air war on my hands... <br/>

<r> I'm Darby's opponent in a slightly modified RA game and I thought I'd say a few words about pilot training:<br/>

RE: Grace - Is it as good as it looks

<t> As far as I can tell that is not true. If you look in the editor, or the game you will see that all the CV TB sentais have the grace at the end of their upgrade line. (This is what I see in stock scen 2, and in RA too. I suspect scen 1 is the same)<br/>
