quick start games

i have a question about the quick starts.

if i select epic a bunch will it randomize everything but star quantity and research everytime or are the other options (pirates, creatures, colony prevelance, etc) always the same each time also?

no imports or mods or anything. just those 2 races at game start have an extra 9 size.

ive had the game almost a week ROTs version 1508. no edits mods or anything.
