North side of Sevastopol (42,32)

In the scenario notes ' If the Allies capture the North Side of Sevastopol (hex 42,32) and occupy it with a unit,
the fortress guns of the North Side will fire on the South Side each turn, damaging Russian
units in the area' But it seems difficult, with all the forts as artillery and the trench ...

Ukraine and Syria didn't show anything. Anyway not to politics, no safe air&land zone for an early NATO member but then asking EU for military expenditure, very much irony.

Re: ⚜️ THE WARGAMING CLUB (TWC)

Hi Lancier,
Field of Glory: Kingdoms - Burghers and Bombards would be a good game about any wargame community interested history and deep gameplay. It is ambitious project by AGEOD Pocus. Similar to War in the Pacific. As it is Slitherine based no harm. Just correct time for a direction for players ...

Re: What music are you listening to now?

Black Book - "Little Fir Tree"
i've stopped listening music without a history only in films or games perhaps. Black book is a game with Slavic myths. Superstitious traditions mostly well done in pre-Bolshevik times in rural areas.

Re: Artillery fire on Rusçuk fort (51.23)

Not sure why I did shot port or post it here. Some rules I forget about the game. :)

All infantry have 1 spotting range makes it interesting scenario in pbem also. Cossacks have 3 and bashi-bozuk have 2 spotting range. Both sides have limited recruitment of those. It is all good. Thanks.

Artillery fire on Rusçuk fort (51.23)

Concert of Europe -ACW DLC- 1859 scenario

Fun scenario managed to win major victory both sides France and Austria. Gyulai command in chief and Canrobert from other side. And they can command 25 units and have large hex command radious unlike other scenarios, which I didn't like for an operational game. As there were many HQ units available ...

Concert of Europe -ACW DLC- Garibaldi scenario 1860

It is fun scenario. I've managed to win as Garibaldi Reds as minor victory in november 7.

But unfortunately As playing Bourbon this time it was very easy to lock AI to Sicily. Trench war started very early and keep going until the end game. Garibaldi surrender without even going forward to Messina ...

Re: How old are the average Wargamers here?

Avalon>age. it seems more common definition .Definition of wargaming technical side or political side. As there were less modders at that time I guess. But both are correct about design and gameplay at their time what they believe.

Re: Russian Civil War game balance

I don't know about MP balance but many historical conflicts lack in RCW. Such as Baku situation such as https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islamic_A ... e_Caucasus

Ageod did it very well but Clovis the modder did go further for OOB to some some extent in Southern Caucasian Baku conflict in the past.

''The story is that of Europe’s reaction, three decades long, to the revolutions of 1848. First it was one of those revolutions, and the Tsar’s efforts to crush it, that gave Russia the confidence to embark on a war, known to us as Crimea but begun in the Balkans. It was Sardinia’s contribution to ...

Hopkins’ poem is one that laments the war between Christian powers, reflecting on the strange irony that the conflict began as a holy war against Islam by the Tsar but by 1854 was being fought primarily against the British and French. Hopkins also that predicts that the war will be the Ottomans ...

Re: All things Football (soccer) related

I congratulate Irish team St Patrick's Athletic FC. It didn't come from Baron league but able score 2 goals abroad against Besiktas but still eliminated, that is fine. They've very limited budget. Even Besiktas trainer Ole Gunnar Solskjaer have said they are promising team and wish all the best.
