Re: Japanese artillery sucks

Remember, in a stack, each LCU has an indvidual DL. Fly a dozen of indvidual recon missions over Changsha so you can get a good DL on all Chinese units.

I can only see this query if I am logged in. Is there something wrong going on?

I have exactly the same problem. If I am logged out, the forum shows me no new threads/posts after June 1, 2026. I click the referesh button and nada, the forums are frozen just like they were on June 1, 2026.

Re: Base repair

Port damage reduces port loading/unloading rates.
Airfield damage reduces first bomber operations, then fighter operations.

However, the damage does nothing for base supply capacity.

A base with airfield 1 can store 8000 supplies, no matter if airfield is 0% or 100% damaged. Same goes for ports ...

Re: Base repair

So why can't engineers build forts first if there is airfield/port damage? Seems airfield/port repair can be handled by any non-engineer device.

Re: Question about custom mobile HQs and Amphibious HQ mechanics

Remember you can split a HQ unit by putting a HQ on ships or aircaft. Once a part of the HQ has 51% of total TOE devices, it becomes a parent. The parent should give you HQ bonuses just like a full,100% TOE HQ. Thus, if you want to land a HQ unit on an atoll but risk overstacking the atoll with a ...

Let me see if I understand correctly:

You put ARD Dewey into ARD Dewey? So Dewey is using the drydock which is itself to repair itself? All that while having onging fires?

Re: AI Scripts

That's a good question.

Since I always play the Allies, it is the Japanese AI who always starts the first turn of the grand campaign. So for an Allied human player, the AI scripts are loaded on the start of turn one.

Re: WitPTracker News

Floydg, here is a feature you can add to the new Tracker.

When I load a new turn in Tracker, I go to the Alerts. By default all Alerts are ON. I mostly use Tracker to read LCU Alerts, so every turn I have to manually de-select all Alerts INDVIDUALLY.

A simple button of "De-select All" would be ...

Re: WitPTracker News

Sorry, floydg, but Tracker seems to have one serious flaw.

Its region definitions seem to be dynamic throughout a campaign making industry data somewhat meaningless.

Here is Allied Luzon data on turn 1. On turn 1, I have 127k fuel on Luzon with Clark Field holding about 110k fuel. This Clark Field ...

Re: Just checking - should I be using ....SetupRelease-v10079DR

Once you install WiTP:AE, there is always a WhatsNew pdf file in the game's main folder. The file has the game's changelog history.

Version V10079DR is, as I understand, the unpatched vanilla game with all its bugs.

This is a graphics glitch. If you scroll the map up/down/left/reight, green numbers should turn to white numbers.

Thanks.

I have never had a chance to observe how light bombers behave in Naval Attack missions using level bombing against TFs.

The results you posted remind me of the dreaded torpedo bombers using bombs on ships.
