NKVD and other refit questions

For the Soviet player: Should you ever refit NKVD units? (does refit even work on them?) How many units should be on refit at one time? For normal infantry, is there a point where you might as well disband as opposed to refit (like when units get to single digits TOE). Is there any reason not to ref...

RE: Some Noob questions

<t> I am not sure what units are in your hexes- is there a HQ there, etc? Try selecting just combat unit and see if the results are the same. Can the cavalry unit even advance one hex east? It should have the needed MP to do that, even if there is an enemy ZOC there. I think it would take 12 MP to c...

Is that a thing really, just for transports? It is quite possible they are not. I will look in Chris's manual for that.

Driving me Crazy

<t> Turn 1 as the German. I had a very successful air campaign- 6,475 Soviet aircraft destroyed, followed by dropping supplies to the leading edge armored units.<br/> Turn 2- I cannot get any transports to drop supplies. Period. Same for turn 3.<br/> Air Doctrine- set to 0% to fly<br/> Air bases are...

RE: Statistics for your campaign

Fetnum- incredible spreadsheet. I have one question/comment.

On the dropdown "choose type of display", between Accumulative or This turn, I get the same numbers (it does not display the turn, only the accumulative. I have Office 2016.

RE: Soviet City Supply

How hard would it be to code that you think- as in give them port supply if they can trace a line to a city hex (or above)?
Perhaps a rhetorical question, really one for someone like Morvael.

I seriously can't wait to use this!
Good grief- playing WITE already puts me in the top 0.1% of nerdy, but being into spreadsheets about WITE is such a small percent it's almost immeasureable!

RE: Slightly OT: AI Rant

<t> It comes down to money. Chris I think you and I were born 25 years too soon to have the AI opponent we want.<br/> There are generic type AIs, like Alpha Zero, that basically learn by playing a game hundreds of thousands of times (in a short time span). I am sure it could be adapted for Wite, but...

RE: The dunce (ST) vs the diligent (Dinglr) - all welcome

Looking forward to seeing this from both sides. Good luck to both of you.

Nice that you were able to isolate the two panzer divisions by Riga. Every little bit helps for the Soviet on T1.

You left an airbase alone just NE of Tarnopol? I guess no planes are in it.

If you leave them on the trains at the end of your turn (do not debark them), they count against your rail cap the next turn.
