I was thinking of this book the other day. In a quick google search the most recent update I read is from May 2022 saying book 2 is coming. I imagine there's more current info out there? Does anyone know if this is still happening?

When creating a rectangle of reference point, I'm asked if I want to create a zone entity, but I don't see any way to tell what that is or what that means?

In the new advanced war planner, what happens if I set a time on target that is impossible? It seems from the tutorial that the mission just never launches, but I'm not sure about that.

Is there any way to know how soon a given aircraft with a given loadout can strike a target, for planning purposes?

I'd recommend including in this post that there are tutorial scenarios focusing on the different aspects of the new stuff, and where to find them. Or even have a separate pinned post about that.

I particularly want to set it so that all missions are created NOT enforcing flight size, there are other tweaks I'd like to make as well.

Also, how do I change the information that is displayed where the cursor is on the map (I want to see less if possible).

Yes, thank you. In case any of this matters, it's a use created scenario that I have then heavily edited myself, and I tend to play it in the editor at this point. I"ve checked and the flight plan option doesn't appear in regular mode either. Thanks for your help with this.

If you set both to none, or even just selected unit\mission, most of that should go away. Perhaps the other player was assuming ...

Interesting, I don't have that setting. Maybe I need to update, but it's steam I thought that auto updated.

These grey lines all over the map are the flight plans for the aircraft I've assigned to missions. I haven't played in a while, but I think I remember they could be turned off. I've tried turning off, on the map settings: illumination and targeting vecotrs, datalinks, datablocks, contact emissions ...

but the S-300 and S-400 never turn their sensors on to engage. Why the difference?
