The attached save is the last one that loads from this game (taken about 10 minutes real-time before the issue) but unfortunately it doesn't reproduce the issue.

Set "Maintain Standoff" to "no" and it chases the ship correctly. I guess the maintain standoff ROE makes it go towards the long range of its SSMs and something (target ambiguity maybe?) makes it not fire them. Manually allocating the missiles works however.

As far as I know, the maintain standoff ROE setting only applies to ships.

I managed to reproduce by just creating a new scenario, adding 1 heli, setting it to max alt and then reopening the throttle window, so I don't think it's something funky with my specific save file.

I launched a heli from the ship and set it to max altitude and closed the window. A minute later i selected the heli again and tried to open the throttle window, which resulted in the attached error.

Autosave also attached.

Thick fog 0-610m, solid cloud 2,13-10km. I'm guessing that has something to do with the problems of spotting the ships from on high :)
