RE: Level 8 airfield and air support

Thank you for your answers.[:)]

You were right, Lokasenna, it's just like a display bug. The AS doubled the next turn.

Level 8 airfield and air support

<t> Hello everyone!<br/>
<br/>
I remember some years ago AF lvl 8 used to double the air support value.<br/>
Is it still the case?<br/>
<br/>
I've just built Mukden airfield to level 8, but the air support value did not change and is still equal to the exact number of AS squads in this base ...

RE: Insert witty AAR title here - Sqz(J) vs. fcharton (A)

Since the patchs, i found the number of planes destroyed on ground in PH has been reduced a lot.

But i think the port attack result is still totally random like before. My last attack, with the new patch, sank all the BBs. 2 years ago, no BB sunk (and no torpedo used!).

But i don't think it's a waste. It all dépends on the chain for each model.<br/>
<br/>
I don't hesitate to use like 10 R&D factories for models like Zero, as it's not only about getting the A6m5 much earlier ...

RE: How can i avoid automatic victory?

<t> Alpha: Aaaah, Steel Panther, what a wonderfull game it was. But it was in my opinion very unbalanced: a few well placed Panthers could destroy waves of T34/87 or even JS2 before the soviet could have a chance to approach. And i don't even talk about allied tanks: only fireflys had any chance ...

How can i avoid automatic victory?

<t> Hello everyone!<br/>
<br/>
I'm doing a GC as IJ against Allies AI, still in 1942, and i'm really enjoying it.<br/>
<br/>
The big problem is my victory score is going to be more than 4 times the score of the AI.<br/>
And i really don't think AI can grab enough VP before the end of 1942. I've ...

RE: Advices needed for IJ campaign 7th december planning

<t> I heard your telepathically expressed encouragements to stop my blabla about an ideal start[:D]. So i just started a historical start. And you were right: PoW and Repulse sunk, and no BBs sunk in Pearl ("no torpedo attack" curse again[8|]) but still damaged for a long time, and 16 catalinas ...

RE: Dec 7th surprise

<t> That's why many (if not most) players who start a pbem with a non historical start agree on this precious HR: no new allied TF created on day 1. And some players add even more rules like: Force Z is sent historically, limited number of non historical landing for the IJ, etc..<br/>
<br/>
I ...
