Patient Opponent for Newbie

<t> Hi,<br/>
Am looking for a patient opponent for a PBEM game - any scenario they'd recommend as a good PBEM starter. I don't have DaBigBabes, RA or the Extended Map installed yet - but if needed for whatever PBEM game I can get, then will install. Have played Coral Sea a few times.<br/>

How to cancel an order to strike plus other Qs

<t> How do you cancel an F1/Shift-F1 order to strike? In a scenario last night I'd ordered a frigate to bombard land installations - and it kept steaming toward them and got sunk. F3 and routing waypoints 180 degs the other way didn't have any effect. ESC had no effect - I didn't issue an overriding ...

[NO REPRO] Error Generated

<r> got the attached error display - midway through scenario - had the message log as separate window - and after I clicked OK it asked to exit, clicked OK and then continued playing. Noted the message window disappeared and the log entries were posted to the window. Still playing now...<br/>

RE: Routing over land - Issue

Bump

Any thoughts here from the Devs? Or is this something where a) I've missed a bit really obvious in the manual or 2) it's being catered for in the upcoming patch?

Continuing to enjoy in any case a FANTASTIC game [&o]

Routing over land - Issue

<r> Playing Tutorial #3 and I set a course for Stockdale to Area C on the other side of the island. I had the time compression to 1 min for the transit to area - and the routing sticks to a <U><s></s>direct<e></e></U> course - intermittently it switches to showing a route round the island ...

RE: First Whack at Custom Layer Import

<t> I had a shot at this and tried to import one of the islands for Tutorial #3 - just as a sample exercise - did everything with GMap and got the png and pgw files - the png was about 500Mb. Tried to upload it to Command and got an error. I used the make worldfile option.<br/>

RE: Another question...

<t> I found something like that happening as well (with the separate window) - think it also happened if you covered the log with another window and then uncovered it - never refreshed on being given the focus - but when a new msg is generated the whole log refreshes back - something like that.<br ...

RE: Sub-Windows

<t> Sunburn - thanks!<br/>
<br/>
Will definitely survive without them, but if it's an easy addition in the future then I think this sort of game does benefit from the ability to have different windows with different filters on them - so you don't get overloaded.<br/>

Thanks for a terrific ...

Sub-Windows

<t> Guys - purchased and downloaded - enjoying thoroughly. One quick question: Harpoon had the facility to create new sub windows in the game area and have them track a unit or whatever - is there an equivalent in Command? I'm only part way through Tutorial 1, but on scanning the manual and the ...

RE: Weather

Great - thanks - any idea if this is already a high priority element in the next release? Or most likely sensitive to degree of player request?
Cheers,

Weather

<t> Guys,<br/>
Saw reference in the WarfareSims posts to weather details being available for points on the map - but is there a weather overlay and time-based model built into Command as well? Would be really neat to see satellite imagery with forecast time-delay - navigation around weather systems ...

RE: Beta AAR - Raid on Kismayo

<t> Guys - this looks fantastic, and I too have been waiting for years for the 'next' Harpoon. Huge fan of the game and very excited for the 24th.<br/>
<br/>
Quick question on this: is there a debug log for the scenario editor - so you can see what happens in the underlying game engine (say in ...
