I'm doing the land strike tutorial, and I've found a bug when plotting courses with the JSSMs.

When I manually set a target, there are two panels on the right: Weapons allocated by selected attacker (top) and weapons allocated to selected target (bottom).

Try adding both targeted aircraft to Targeting Priority (Aircraft>AEW>Any, Aircraft>Electronic Warfare>Any). That worked for me.
I tried it two times and the fighters headed right towards the targets, ignoring all the aircraft in the area, and successfully engaged them.

Hmm, I can't be certain (I've run the scenario several times by now), but I'm 99% certain this behaviour happened when they were the targets from launch.

I had ruled that out because the enemy planes don't seem aware of them - the enemies don't face them, no missiles are fired at them, and if I (reload the save and) order them to hold fire, they fly unmolested all the way to the target.

I've just experimented a bit, and if the same types of plane (with different loadouts) are on the mission, they'll follow the 1/3 rule for the total number of planes.

So the 1/3 rule applies to each different type of plane, but not each different loadout.

I've set up an AAW patrol (called 'AAW'), and I thought I had set it to - the 1/3 rule, - flight size 2, - try to keep 0 units on-station... But every time, *all* of my units (3 flights) launch at once. What am I getting wrong?

Also note that you don't need to destroy all of them to render the unit ineffective. Just enough to stop it being a problem to you!
