Re: Difference Between This and Bulge

Hi there, both titles are nice, Barbarossa is more strategic, with a huge map, hex at 30 miles I think, week or so turns, lots of planning, logistics, decisions, and command level is at divisional size, Bulge is more tactical, smaller units… hex maybe 1km ?, short time period turns..I haven’t played ...

Re: An Odd Question Re Solitaire Play

John S, that was an interesting post, I had similar opinion and experience as you do. Played numerous campaign as GE, tried hard yet always got badly defeated eventually… then I got the same info about cheating AI and figured that it’s unfair fight perhaps…. Considered turning the board as you do ...

Re: Where can I purchase?

I don't think that TOAW IV is necessarily better. TOAW III is much easier on hardware, plays well even on very dated /10+ years old/ laptops etc. The new version interface has some nice extras as well as improved graphics and other elements, under the hood game seems identical or very similar to me ...

Re: Purchase question, Steam key included?

Yes, there is a steam key available when you purchase via Matrix. Just go to 'My Page' and find your game on that page, it will show you both the Matrix and Steam key. You may have to click on the 'Get Steam Key' link.

Thanks, sounds good!

…I do prefer direct from Matrix purchases whenever ...

Purchase question, Steam key included?

Hello,

Just would like to know whether there is a Steam key included in the purchase is well? I don’t see it in the description mentioned. All my many purchases at Matrix have it (the only exceptions being the older Achtung Panzer Operation Star and GG’s WITP AE)…

Thanks for info in advance!

thanks, they look as great as in the original WITE mod, however, the 11 counters (top row, from the left) in Counter36x36.tga are smaller then the rest (and then the stock counters are), which causes strenght-movement numbers overlap the counters bottom at this zoom...at least ...

<t> Same question. After the purchase, download file will be available instantly as usual, and HB edition printed manual plus box delivered by mail later as it becomes available? I'm definitely ready to purchase. Or is this just pre-order? It says "pre-order" on the product page, and WITE2 "released ...

RE: Making Barbarossa "Gameable"?

<t> I personally enjoy both above mentioned approaches; WITE/WITW concept of most detailed micromanagement and accounting detailed to every fired shot, and the Decisive Campaigns Barbarossa sort of role playing concept, with some parts of game abstracted which allows concentration elsewhere.
