Re: TOE of the IJA 3rd tank division (3TKD)

Oops - it appears you took my silly observation as a personal affront! My apologies!

While I have no interest in the IJA OOB details, I respect your efforts to get this information for those who are interested. I also like the pictures you provide - most of them do not seem to be in Western ...

Re: TOE of the IJA 3rd tank division (3TKD)

Some documents say armored vehicles are all tracked. After checking production of tracked vehicles between 1931 - 1942, apparently it is not possible. Paused.

Re: Public resources of Japan's "War History Series" in English for download

"War History Series" is the first choice for normal JFBs because it is very friendly to read. For hardcore JFBs they have better choices -- first hand original raw materials.

I bought one book last year when I was in China with English name could be translated into "Japanese war history of WW2 ...

Re: Does someone really understand IJA's dumb decisions?

This topic is too big. You have 2 choices.
1. Simply accept someone's opinion at your own risk then may find it has problem later soon and change to another.
2. Do a lot of read written by Americans, Japanese and Chinese (of course first hand official docs are best choices like Japan's War History ...

Look at the combat losses for KMT China in 1937-1945 period. KMT switched to defence after Dec 7,1941 knowing that is was now USA's turn to bleed themselves in the war.

Both Chang and the Communists realized that with the US entry into the war meant that the Japanese would ...
