Re: What changes would you want in WITE3?

Personally I don't think there will be a WITE3, though I don't have any inside information.
This could be the last we see of this type of wargame for some time that tries to simulate on this scale with historical accuracy.
It is a shame as clearly the game has made great strides forwards since ...

Re: What changes would you want in WITE3?

Great topic!

So, I'd like a WiE (War in Europe) that simulates World War II across all of Europe, including Africa (land, air, and naval ).

And I'd also like more player influence over resources, production, (research,) transport, etc. The graphics could be a bit more military and historically ...

What changes would you want in WITE3?

Would you like to be able to move supplies manually instead of relying on depot priorities? Being able to pick what panzer unit get oil/fuel priority? Being able to pick what freight routes are used? Should we get the option to adjust AFV or aircraft production ourselves? Better air war missions ...

In the 1943 Campaign, I noticed that the 707th Infantry Division is being called Static Infantry Division for some reason. Shouldn't they be called just Infantry Division or Security Division instead?

Here's hoping for a WITE3 in 2030s with more complex gameplay mechanics modeling history that will actually work

Re: Oil, Caucasus, and gameplay

this topic has been discussed a bunch of times in the past. but basically one of the devs said something about how very few people would take the Caucasus playing the game so there's no point in working on it. Or something about it's not important. To be fair it's almost impossible to take the ...

Re: War In Spain !

While I'm excited to try out the new engine, I agree that Spain is not an exciting theater to play. Interesting? Yes, definitely. But just not as exciting as the real WW2. Since most of the equipment during that war was WW1-era.

Also, 1-hour turn is crazy but it's actually what I have always ...

Hi. Thanks for the mod. I'm using it for the first time in a PBEM game. Can I just use the other map + graphics mods that I'm used to instead of the one provided by bottlenecks?

It's not as detailed as AE. I haven't played it, but I have it and have looked at it. It is fairly detailed, but AE is more detailed.

Re: Apply to Test Our New Unannounced Game

Gary Grigsby doesn't do the most detailed and immersive games anymore.

WITE2 was his latest one and it is the most detailed and immersive eastern front strategy game ever made so i don't know what to tell you.
