It's not as detailed as AE. I haven't played it, but I have it and have looked at it. It is fairly detailed, but AE is more detailed.

It's quite a colossal work. It has many thousands of items.
It's remotely similar to AE. But much more detailed.
Both in terms of building ground units and scale.

It's not easy to capture the political (ideological) side of SCW.
But still, it's somehow visible there.

I feel so lucky to have gotten all these manuals and DVDs before Matrix stopped producing physical copies for good. The WITW and WITE2 manuals are so nice. I really hope the next Gary Grigsby title includes a physical manual like these somehow.
