But that's exactly what you want: demoralizing ambassadors to send to your neighbours.

You know you're right, I've never thought about it that way. But the issue is still annoying though.

I handle most of my characters automatically, but not the ambassadors. As you guys know, in order to send an ambassador to another civ you need to have seen their capital planet. And ambassadors who hang around at home gather bad traits, so in the early game I send my ambassadors to whoever I can ...

This thing has been slightly bothering me for a long time. It's especially obvious when you want to clear a system of space creatures and there's a bunch of them, what you would expect to happen is that the fleet should attack the closest hostile and when it's dead it should attack the nearest one ...

I vassalized another empire and eventually they only had one planet left, and then it rebelled so they seized to exist, all of their remaining bases and ships turned independent. Now what's really annoying is that these independent ships fly around and sometimes attack mine, who don't fight back ...

And I was wondering what these yellow dots are. M.b. it's a UI scaling issue? Try different screen resolutions and UI scale settings.
It's possible to see colonization chances in the colonization menu screen, so at least it's not a gamebreaking bug.


Is it possible? I was pretty sure I couldn't ...

Yes, or at least that is the case for me, very very often. If you halt the ships for a little bit the fighters will catch up to them and then they'll jump.

When I tell a fleet or an individual ship to repair, at a selected station or wherever it pleases, automatically or manually controlled, it never enters the station but just drifts away from it for a long while until it turns around ...
