Re: harbor not switching sides

Hi,

I was looking for this answer, thank you.

I have experienced the sae phenomena. I took port Sudan with a HQ, and a ship was in port. I could not attack it and so the port and the convoy has stayed in Allied hands. Weird.
This turn I have finally brought an infantry unit in and this chased ...

Re: Persia

Hi again,
A follow-up question: If Tehran is conquered by the Axis after Persia has by special event been occupied by Allies, does anything happen, or since it is Allied occupied, it changes nothing?
My hope: that the entire country becomes occupied axis including all its ressources etc...

Persia

Hi,
The Allied event has fired and Persia is now occupied territory.
I know that as the Axis, if I were to declare war on Persia beforehand, they would get a couple of garrisons.
But as an occupied country, are there any units now located in the country (a part from any that the Allies might send in ...

Japan -> USSR

How upset do the Americans get if Japan declares war on Russia?

(Apologies if there is a thread on this, could not find it anyhow).

Re: MPPs from the Middle Eaast

Thanks.

Progress in Irak is now stopped, a stalemate against India. It simply took forever to get the HQ over to Bagdad, and so the Indians are now fully set up.

Yes by sheer coincidence someone on the barroom forum talked about the same thing and gave a complete answer.

MPPs from the Middle Eaast

Hi,
As Axis I have conquered Egypt and in a stalemate in Iraq against Indian forces. All this has delayed Barbarossa. I hope to at some point be able to turn North against Russia, but movement is painfully slow. My question is: at least am I getting the MPPs from the oil wells under my control? If ...

(I do not know the mobilisation penalty, if someone who knows would kindly tell us...for Spain and then Gibraltar :?: )

I try to reduce mobilisation by not taking low countries, or doing anything in Yugoslavia or Greece, etc...

@tanaka Thank you for posting your game on Youtube. In the two times I ...

Re: Gibraltar

I would have to double check the 10-15% numbers, that is what my memory is telling me.

As to defending the coastline, yes it is a longer coastline, but you practically want to invite the Allies to land here, as it is a longer trek to Germany.

The biggest downside as I said was Romania staying ...

Gibraltar

Hi,
I have now played two games against humans and one AI, in which the axis go for Spain/Gibraltar after France.
There seems to be NO WAY of stopping this as allies. You can try to ship a corps or even an army to Gigraltar, but you the delay caused in maybe 2-3 turns max.
Once Gibraltar is axis ...

Re: National Moral

Thank you Archmage, That was a bit my point.
For NM between 75 and 1, the difference is only .5 national multiplier, so basically nothing. It is more a symbolic measure of the situation than something that actually affects gameplay. (Unless I am misunderstanding the rules).

Merry Christmas!

National Moral

Is it fair to say that national moral does not really count for much in a game, and mainly something to generate atmosphere more then anything else?

A part from France and Italy who have to be careful, the likely hood of other countries going to zero is rather remote.

And the NM bonus over 110 ...

Connection error (-1)

Good morning,

Today I am receiving a connexion error above when I try to connect to multiplayer, with the main box reading "unknown error".

Any ideas what to do? I have tried the "reboot everything technic" which the extent of my IT capabilities, and the error still appears.
