Aircraft research

Here is some research on aircraft design I've been doing to help me make better design decisions. The importance of each input variable on the charts was derived from the game's internal logic and seem obvious in hindsight. The values in the data tables originated from the debug mode tables.

What is your tech level? Early Orbitals and Fusion Atomics requires level 6 and Advanced Photonics needs level 7. It's in the DISCOVERY IF LOGIC column of table 126 to see this. Deleting that requirement works for me.

Get the zone's culture name. Then in Table 239 use Group ID column to change that culture's group. For Farmers it is 102, in subculture ID column change to 6 for Guardians. More culture group values can be looked up in Tables 243/248. Subcultures can be looked up in Tables 490/491.

There should be a debug tab on top of the game screen next to TYPE and BLUE you can click on then you go down to the list of tables next to libraries and highlight table 86. Then in the rows of data, look for a row with AssetType ID of 201 and Type of 5. In that row in the Qty column click the ...

Not a chance lol. I knew these pictures were trying to convey information but it isn't documented in the manual and it wasn't obvious enough to me.

I would recommend playing with midcore logistics or easy logistics instead of editing values. But you can do what you are asking by enabling debug mode and then going to Table 86 and editing the Qty column of the row with ID 201 and Type 5 for Truck Station (2012 for level 2, 2013 for level 3, etc..)

The graphic shown on the map to indicate Supply Base I is the one for Supply Base II.

I have version 1.26.16 on menu screen (1.26 j3 on title screen) installed is that old? It's whatever steam downloads by default. The manual says for version 1.25 and it's the one that steam shipped with it.

In section 5.3.20.3 it mentions "Some Assets like Bunkers and Logistical Assets need only half those
Logistical Points. Farmsteads only need a third."
