<t>Thanks for the info. I downloaded Typhoon, Mayala, etc. and each one is limited to thirty uses in the unregistered form. The registration information told me that to my delight, that the game has been sold to my pals at Matrix. That's the one I need - And it would seem reasonable to keep the ...

Typhoon, Malaya, Konrad

Forgive me if this common knowledge, but is Matrix going to develop these operational games?(such as add AI. . . and integrate them with Spwaw) - and until then, is there a place I can get a password/key to play the shareware?

I had a great kick last summer flying out of dupage airport near chicago, just building time in a rented cherokee on a sunny sat afternoon when a p -51 scooted up next to me. he zipped around me a couple of times and peeled of for galt arpt. amazing. wish you could have been there.

Mausketeers

<t>I know SPWAW is a realists paradise, but like any good general, I like to think that winning battles changes the course of the war. If I drive the Yankees into the sea in 44, or pound the Tommies into sand in 42, I expect as Gerry to have the war last until 46 and the same would apply to handling ...

<t>Forgive me for throwing in two cents, but this topic caught my interest as I found the US quad .50's especially effective against infantry but the 20mm AA . . . I have been thinking about the HE vs. solid round problem - are we modeling the impact of an actual round or a fragment? I think whole ...

I have not hacked the palette problem, BUT I would like to know more about editing shp. I think WB refered to you as the Guru. What's the prefered method? PS. I will have to get a copy of that read.

<t>Again, i haven't thought it through, but i think tank tracks would be a nice addition. I agree the coding could be a problem since it would require the placement a large number of matching shps on a single map. we sort of do this with craters. There could be one for each direction on each terrain ...

we could reduce their movement to almost nothing so that they would have to crawl out of a scenario. Thus, even under AI they would only be lost in large, long battles.

<r>Agreeeee. If you just climbed out of your tank you've abandoned your duty station, probably had your bell rung and are terrified survivors, not a recon unit. crews should be suppressed and pinned for something like eight turns (keeping them out of most actions, stuck near their units [mobile ...
