tacops

I was wondering about the general perception of this game? I have the demo and was wondering if folks thought it worth upgrading to the 3.0 version and paying for it.

Thanks

I'm a glutten for punishment...if you make it I will play it. Due to time restraints it takes me 3-4 months to play a game of PW so I could see a monster of these proportions taking me a year! But who said all of us are of the fast food I want it now generation.

The manual available on the underdogs website is a transcript and is incomplete. It is missing the sections on supply and the game function of the HQ units.

Help with Red Lightning Game

<t>I recently "discovered" Red Lightning via a post on the Red Storm forum and have quickly gotten into it. I downloaded the documentation from the underdogs website but it is incomplete. Is there anyone who has the documentation or know of a place where the complete documentation is available?<br ...

Is the patch going to be released as a patch or will we have to ditch the old version and download the complete game again?

I have to agree with lodine on this one. I started out cutting my teeth with the Indian Ocean area playing the Brits. Found the computer controlled U.S. side a bit slow so I took the P.I. for them!

<t>"War is war, not fair? War takes two sides to fight, right? That's part of the whole issue with the attack, THERE WAS NO WAR. Just let someone come and set fire to your house without warning, and then tell me "all's fair". How moronic is it that something as barbarous as that, that we would call ...

<t>Great idea! Along with including ALL of the leaders with a sky is the limit memory how bout all of the land units involved. Obviously as a strategic game you draw a line on how far down the chain to go but there are many units like Corps artillery units etc. that could be up to the whim of higher ...

<t>The idea of a "sneak attack" being a dirty wage war is just as silly as the idea that todays BDU's are not spiffy enough and we need to go back to flashy brightly colored uniforms with peacock feathers sticking out of the headgear! War is war, not fair. I always thought the idea was to win. Fair ...
