<t>That sounds really odd! I have never had a problem like that before. I know that sometimes a topic is closed off when it is deemed to be going no where constructive, but that does not seem to be the case in what you describe.<br/>

I fail to see any contradiction in anything I have said. I CAN see why you think there is one, though, and that was not my intention, so let's try to clear that up. <br/>

I am disappointed that you choose not to discuss an issue without resorting to fairly tactless comments about talking out of the side of the mouth and double-talk. I have seen your other posts in other threads and I respect your opinions (for that matter I agree with a lot ...

<t>Charles22, I think you misunderstood my point. I specifically said that I did not wish to focus on the SPWAW logo in isolation. One cannot look at one game and then make generalizations about the use of appropriate imagery.<br/>

However, I know that from the comments others made in this ...

<t>I really look forward to a Stalingrad campaign. Crete sounds really good too. And the France 1940 campaign is something that I should try my hand at, as I rarely look at that period of the war, yet it was so crucial for the early German successes.<br/>

Well done! Keep up the good work. I know they are a lot of effort. I make scenarios and they take a huge amount of time to do, especially when you make your own maps, but campaigns....I shudder at the ...

There is one other that is similar. Incredibly similar in fact because it is based on the Steel Panthers series as well: SPWW2. Like SPWAW, it is an excellent game.

<t>I wonder if it would be possible to code a selectable option that would allow players to choose if the "Spotted by enemy" asterisk is available or not. Personally I find it too convenient. Just make sure that neither you nor your PBEM partner have FAST ARTILLERY set to "on", or else the VCR will not show Arty effects, including air strikes.

Why would you need SPWW2 to convert things from SP1 to SPWAW? I didn't think that SPWW2 would even load SP1 Maps or scenarios.

<t>I think that Fabs may be on the right track in this debate. I have often undulged in small (500 points or so) battles as I find it really gives on the feel for small unit action and allows one to experience a bit of hide-and-seek in the game, where the enemy is not easy to find.<br/>
