I finished it with a draw , and loved every minute of it.There were quite a few surprises and it was a hard fought camp. each step of theway.The map designs were excellent to.Beautiful job WB.

I've seen a tank crew be stunned by fire but have not seen any casualties among the crew while still inside.

I played it on 6.0 and it worked great.Hope you get it because I think it's the best campaign on spwaw.

Smoke works great , especially against fortified positions or river crossings.Of course to optimize it you can pop it and then only move 1 hex at a time , but it seems more realistic that way and that seems to be what everyone wants.

Iprefer pacific play since there arent too many games or scenarios that deal withit.Its the best infantry style play you can get.

Is it possible the jap gun crew can melee back at the same time you attack ?

I think tracer is right .They were 4-5 motorcycles per squad with side cars and 2 man crew.Mg was on sidecar.Single bikes were primarily used as messengers.

I think spwaw is great and always have , I take my hat off to all of you at matrix for the hard work you have given in order to try and make a good game even better and to try and satisfy everyone with 5.2,5.3 and now 5.4.I just wanted to post a thankyou to all who were involved in the game .

I also chose the night attac option and suffered about 50% vehicle loss.The British sappers at the bottom of the map really put a hurtin on me. Finished that battle as a draw and was threatened by the high command that I may be commanding a desk in Italy if my performance doesnt improve.

Mixing your force differently opens up alot of different variables , this keeps the game from getting boring.Using a solid inf. force supported by anti- tank guns plays so much more different than playing as an armor heavy force.enjoy.

The german soldier , like the roman centurion , gives off the image of a tough , professional soldier.Most of the german wehrmacht troops were just ordinary young men like most soldiers are today , that fought thru some of the most horrendous conditions ever known.Am I preaching? SORRY.
