7.0 to 7.1

<t>I've been out of it for a while.<br/>
I updated to 7.1, but the game still says 7.0. How can I tell if the update took. There is no extra directory I can see.<br/>

The only use I know of is on USMC tanks in the Pacific. Used to keep Japanese from getting on top and throwing presents down the hatches.
Edit:
I read they were big-*** nails, welded into place.

It seems to happen to me if I am playing from a save in one of the first 9(?) save slots, which are labeled as 'e-mail" save slots. It might have something to do with this. I saved my game somewhere else and it hasn't happened again.

Forgwt to say that I checked for the nested directory thing. It was the deleting of the mech.exe that escaped me. Everything updated fine after I delted it. Thanks.

Unfortunately it takes more than that to install the game. My current install without saves takes up 1260MB. thats a gig baby. A lot of it are .wav files. Sorry it took so long to answer.

<r>The download is a ZIP file. You have to unzip it to get to the install files. If you do not have a ZIP utility, you cannot access it. You can get WinZip at this location. Just download and install, it should associate itself with .ZIP files.<br/>

<r>Go to the SP:WaW download page and download the file! Easy as that. By the way it is always helpful to mention which version you are running, and if possibly a hardware/OS problem, the types and versions of those too. There are always some issues that can be answered failrly easily with that ...

<r>All good sugestions, but I think any Creative PCI card is going to problematic with this game. I took it to work (shhhh) and installed it, and there has never been a sound problem (non-Creative card). I installed it on a friends computer and got the same screeching type noises as on my system (he ...

Relevant to nothing really, but check the sIG33 out closely. Gerry just chopped the top off a PzI and plunked the standard sIG33 down onto the chassis, wheels, trailing arms and all, and put a flimsy little gun shield around it. Brave men in those things.

<r>I have noticed that SPWaW only lists the weapon in slot 1 for that max penetration stat listed. If you go to the encyclopedia you can see the penetration values for second and subsequent weapons. As this game was first and foremost a tank game when designed (SP1), it was probably thought good ...

I have had this happen to me before. It seems to be a bug. Sometimes trucks are there, sometimes they aren't. Usually if you exit and reload they reappear.
