RE: AP Ammunition

Yes, AFAIK, the game does "ammo checks" for firing units to see if they run out of ammo, with special (and rare) ammo types being most in danger of running out. So, as ammo is handled somewhat abstractly, there is no ammo counter (like, for instance, in CM).

<t> Desert campaigns? Desert Crusade?! What's all this then? I thought the next game was going to be&nbsp;Battles From The&nbsp;Bulge. There's been talk of Normandy and even East Front (yess!), but this is the first time I hear&nbsp;of desert campaigns&nbsp;mentioned with HTTR series.<br/>

<t> Arjuna, I assume you've noticed this, but in case you didn't, in the last screenshot (the battle result screen) the Decisive Victory "stamp" obscures the text under it so that the text becomes hard to read. I think the stamp should be under the text and not vice versa.<br/>

How big a download are we talking about? My HTTR folder weighs in at 408 MB. I guess, COTA is about the same, or?

Info on the price of the digital download version would also be nice.

RE: Crisis at Tempe

MarkShot's comments about shelling the bridge defenders got me thinking. If you bombard the bridge area with heavy artillery, shouldn't there be a chance of accidentally destroying the bridge yourself? It would seem that in Real Life (tm), such a danger could exist. Or am I way off?

<t> In the movement OP cost lists by terrain, there are two truck icons. What's the difference between them? One's for wheeled movement for sure, but which one? And the other one, motorized infantry mov't or? Tried looking through the manual, but couldn't find help on this.<br/>

I'm using the "relaxed" flight mode (shame on me - being an I-War and I-War 2 "veteran"). As I enter the bay, nothing happens. No matter what I do. Granted, about 50% of the time the game notices I've docked, but the other 50% of the ...

RE: Executive officer in charge of carrier has control of *everything*?

As it's possible to give control of your ship to your XO via the right-click menu, it'd be nice to get it back via the menu as well (AFAIK, currently it's possible only with shift+M).

RE: Bugs

<t> Regarding landing on the carrier, it seems like the game has trouble recognizing that you have landed/docked. It's almost every second landing I make, that nothing happens. Yes, I have landed in the correct bay, have requested landing, been cleared (not in queue) and called "final approach" (ALT ...
