HQ Helper

I couldnt find anything about this in the game manual, am i suppose to use this between battles in campaign mode or after a few turns? And does it need the game to exit first?

Seems like a very nice feature, especially for hopeless commanders like myself [:D]

RE: Playing it as noob click attack move style

<t> So your next step of advice is, to read the entire manual 360+ pages and then implement every micromanaging aspect in existence? Can you re-read my post pls? It's too cumbersome to read the manual alt-tabbing back and forth 1000 times until i get the manual printed, sry for not being clear about ...

RE: Strategy guide?

I woudl like this aswell, also a quick-start guide for the basics.. i find the tutorial extremely hard really (had it been intergrated within the tutorial game itself it would have been another matter, but now i have to alt-tab 1000 times to the Adobe reader and its just to boring).

<t> I have but brushed the surface of this great game, but i too, find the GUI abit awkward.. for example, by clicking on a hex with stacked units, its centres there on screen and auto selects all units automatically, that is great. BUT the problem is to select just 1 unit... then i have to ...

RE: resolution setting

Running it in windowed mode makes game-screen smaller, but you do get same resolution as you default windows setting, so in a way yeah you can.. try adding a -w to the shortcut command line.

But that brings me to my major topic in another thread " couldn't init font" error

Victory conditions vs computer jap AI

<t> Hi!<br/>
<br/>
I was thinking, perhaps the vc for playing vs the AI (vs Japan that is) is not very historical correct nor realistic, i mean, to be able to beat the AI compared to the ww2 outcome, player would need to invade and destroy most of japans fleet/forces and conquer most bases on the ...
