<t> Hi,<br/>
I am trying to make one of the jap Para units land on PM to support my invasion( my troops are already there ) but I get the message "no friendly air base" , I did manage to land the other in Australia on a base directly without any of my units there , so I wonder what the problem is ...

RE: Surrender of Australia in WITP

<t> I have not been to Australia but in 41 I imagine control of the big cities will give you control over the infastructure and communications , no internet , no telephone - newspaper , no population movement . Big hot spaces , perfect for information / population control . <br/>

RE: Surrender of Australia in WITP

<t> Interesting point . Looking at the game it seems logical to occupy the North including the bases opposite PM . once you have done that only the US is going to dislodge you by cutting supply and or landings elsewhere . The approaches to these bases are really only along the roads / rail and how ...

I would have thought that after fighting in Burma NG and China , Australia would seem like a nice posting for a Jap Soldier. A smilar example to the fighting elan of the Australian soldier high without ...

RE: Jap Paras ... Cannot land in a non base hex ?

That was exactly my plan !!!

But that was one of the purposes of these units cut communications in front of an advance , seize bridges etc etc
Thanks and Regards

Surrender of Australia in WITP

<r> Difficult one this as I know there are many Australian players... and the are all proud of their country ...rightly so its a great place but as could have happened in Britain it too could also have been defeated. <br/>

Land Units out of Supply issues

<t> Hello ,<br/>
<br/>
In general what is the effect of being out of supply ? Of coarse understand what it is but what happens in the context of the game ?<br/>
Does fatigue go up , morale go down ??<br/>
I assume combat effectiveness is reduced ??<br/>

Jap Paras ... Cannot land in a non base hex ?

<t> Hello,<br/>
I notice you cannot land a para unit in non base hex ... does not seem quite logical to me <br/>
Any explanation ? <br/>
It seems that the paras if used well have to land one hex away to carry out missions of isolation etc as they did . Landing on top of a unit does not seem quite ...

Air Capacity Akagi and Kaga

<t> Hello,<br/>
<br/>
I always thought that these carriers carried 80 to 90 aircraft . I am trying to remember what it was stated at in the days of my 1/700 waterline ships and looking at the Janes fighting ships book . I always remember these two CV at higher capacities than in the game however ...

Carrier Trained ... Carrrier Capable

<t> Hello ,<br/>

<br/>
Carrier Capable are units that can go on carriers but I think I read they ...

Identification of spotted TF ,linked to sinking of subs because they do not get moved ?

<t> Hi,<br/>
It would be nice if spotted TF had a change of colour( or pulsed ) or something rather than on important turns having to trawl through all the reports , I am surprised this does not happen it would make it much easier to decide what to do with each TF . <br/>
I think that this is an ...

RE: Jap Subs and the Glen

Fair point also there range seems quite long , is it 4 hexes ?
Maybe to have shown difficulty in use the range could have been 2
Have not got the game open at the moment so cannot check

Night Port attack ... with say the Emily loaded 2 torps

<t> This is a great plane and has so many good uses ... The default load at night is 2 torps .<br/>
If there are ships in the port will they be attacked , is there any chance they can be hit ?<br/>
<br/>
Is the Emily carrying torps on patrol in the day will they attack on occasion ?<br/>
