RE: What Nationality Do You Want in a MC?

Finns in the continuation war. Especially the Russian offensive in 1944 would make a great game in my opinion.

Didn't pass the other one :(

The germans have fired a lot of smoke so it is hard to tell from which way they are coming from. I've send out scouts to determine their positions, no contact yet.

I'm really sorry for the wait. I had two retake exams last week that I had to pass, and I was out of the country for the weekend. I'll try to play my turn tonight and send it to you tomorrow.

<r>Ok the US task force has been carefully chosen, and I am anxiously waiting for my opponent ManicalMonkey to do his purchase.<br/>
<br/>
This is going to be interesting as the map is so big (100 X 160), and there are only so few points to use. Lot's of space to maneuver here. <br/>

<t>ManicalMonkey I purchesed my force and what I found out was that the map was still messed. the starting lines were in the middle of the map, and the reinforcement and retreat hexes were on the wrong sides. It seems that the US player should be player 1 in order to get this thing right.<br/>

ManicalMonkey: Now that Germany is on the left side i think you should then be player 1. That's ok with me, can you make the setup and your purchase and then send it over to me?

Looking forward playing this one :)

You can save the map by pressing E in the mapeditor. there is also a button on the right panel with a disk icon on it.

Naming the hills is a great idea :)

Let's first try to fix Franks 100X160 map, those generated ones look like seas of land with a tree density of 1 tree per squarekilometer, and that is hardly enough cover for any flanking movement that was the original purpose of the using of these large maps.

<t>I did a search on the forum and it seems that you must choose the same nations and same month and year in the editor that you're going to play the battle with when saving the map. Have to check this out though.<br/>

So if you are playing a battle like US vs Germans at 8/44 on a custom map ...

M4 Tankette

What I meant is that M4 is indeed called a tank, but it should be called a tankette or something. :D IMHO M4 is not a tank (like a Tiger), it is a "tank".

Losqualo: nice banner, however

<r>your banner says "Name or nationality don't matter as long as it's a TANK!". With the word "Tank" highlighted and all, I'm beginning to wonder why in the world have you attached a picture of a M4? <br/>
