VCR replies and battle reports

<t>Hello,<br/>
I believe this is one of those 'long know bugs that all users are well awared of'. But seriously, I'm sure I've seen a thread concerning this subject some (rather long) time ago. The problem was related to saving and loading during the turn execution and originated by the fact that ...

Shell measurement units

<r>He he, accept my 2 cents as well.<br/>
First of all in spite of what Ranger-75 says, British system was the most reasonable. That's because it is a shell's energy that we should be most interested in, not its diameter. Much of course depends on the shell's usage.<br/>

Reinforcing Tokyo

<t>Hmm, correct me if I'm wrong but I have a feeling that reinforcing Tokyo you will quickly use all preparatory points assigned to GHQ. Of course this is the way to stop computer HQ's from doing the same, just the solution is rather peculiar. In principle, you would achieve the same by, let's say ...

Transport aircrafts

Nobody used them. If I'm not mistaken, the best use you could have made of them was disbanding the airgroup.

Exact reply

Take a look into the v 3.1 update archive. Among other files you should find some MS Word documents with exactly that kind of info you are looking for.

Transports in a bombardment mission

<t>Hello,<br/>
I believe this is intentional to reflect the historical failure of the first attempt of the Wake Island invasion. If I'm not mistaken Japs even lost a destroyer after it got a 50kg bomb at its depth charge magazine. The coastal artillery also did a good job and even a movie has been ...

Routine convoys optimalizations

<t>Hello.<br/>
While playing the Japaneese side I experience the following problem. My resource pool skyrockets while the amount of oil reserves stabilized at about 3500 points what of course directly affects the number of PPs distributed each turn. And all this in spite of capturing all those oil ...
