RE: Spitfire Unit

I never saw any Spitfire replacements. (This scenario goes until Nov '43). There aren't any listed on the a/c replacement menu as well.

Spitfire Unit

<t> I've read the posts on a potential last fix to UV. Could someone please fix #79 squadron (Spitfires). Even if historically (which I don't doubt they did) they were equipped with Spitfires, surely there were some replacement aircraft.<br/>

In my last play of the game, I sent them to ...

Scenario Editor

<t> I decided to try my hand at modifying a scenario. To keep it simple, I thought I would change the 79th Squadron from Spitfires (which never get replaced) to KittyHawks. Using the editor, I made this change and saved the file in space (slot/scenario) 21.<br/>

RE: small OOB error

No replacement for Spitfires either. This leaves RAAF #77 in a pickle.

LCU Division

<t> I guess this is the proper place for expressing game enhancements. Maybe should be part of WITP, if not already there. (WITP is on my Christmas list since I don't have it now.)<br/>
<br/>
What I would like is the ability to break up LCUs in a more organized fashion. (Yes, you can use tricks ...

Coast Watchers are everywhere

<t> Try running 2.4 for the 1st time last night. Due to work, I haven't played UV in over a year.<br/>
<br/>
During the combat cycle, I got strange coastal watcher (CW) reports. (Maybe it was like this before, but memory is bad.) I believed the report was suppose to show the location of the CW ...

Bases creating supply

<t>I am playing Operation Cartwheel. I have been keeping track of supplies at Pt Moresby. Three times now I have seen an increase to the supplies there without any new supplies coming in, i.e., no TF is unloading nor were any supplies airlifted in. <br/>
<br/>
This did not occur when the base was ...

dividing land units

<r>OK. A newbies 2d post.<br/>
<br/>
I understand that dividing land units is proposed for future editions or follow on game. This gives us a way other than using transport to break units into smaller pieces.<br/>
<br/>
If so, I hope there is flexibility. If it is a fixed fraction, then I propose ...

Engineers

<t>As a newbie to the game (a convert from PacWar though) I would like to put my two cents worth on an aspect I believe missing. <br/>
<br/>
Having served in an Engineer Brigade I know one of the engineer functions is enhancing mobility. Reading histories of the campaigns in the Pacific, I saw ...
