RE: Improving the game

<t> The only way I could see this done in game is that a player would be able to somehow "flag" certain corps to accept movement orders from another (later phasing) allied player during their movement step. In a way acting as temporary corps on loan. These corps could be highlighted on the map ...

RE: Invalid Repatiation route bug

Yes the repatriation code is wierd. There was thread a while back on this. It seems repats are sometimes made *away* from the victors territory not towards it. IT wasnt funny having three french corps stuck in Wales.... [:'(]

RE: Intrinsic Cavalry for Russia?

<t> We played with 2.0 here so I never saw 3.0. yet I find it wierd that the Russian cavalry allotment was downgraded so dramatically. A four corps "main" Russian stack has a LOT less hitting power with the 3.0 values. It reminds me of the big debate about the General's 1792 scenario, as to the lack ...

Not a bug in the game but an error in the documentation I think. I'm pretty sure the biography for the Duke of Brunswick is for the wrong Duke. I think the counter in the game represents Charles William Ferdinand who died as a result of ...

I have a depot there.

If you have a depot and corps it should work. You can re-enf the corps and just transfer its troops to the garrison.

<t> Yes but apparently in EIANW you can draw re-enforcements into your corps from ANY conquered territory not the home nation- so you dont need a line all the way to France to re-enforce a french corps in Russia. For example I have magdeburg as my suplly source and I can still throw factors in the ...

<t> Yeah land movement has always been per corps, stack is just an manually easy way of moving corps but not a rule per se. Only Fleet rules actually mention stacks. Indeed, combat really isn't two stacks fighting really, but rather "all corps in the area". We just as humans like to stack then as ...
