RE: Roll Call of Longevity

I think I got my copy back in late 04' or early 05', If you want to count PacWar then I can go back to my Atari 800XL in the 80's.

RE: Mystery Harbor #2

<t> Well I cheated a little, Started Google Maps and then started searching base names till I found a match. Only took me 3 tries. What's interesting is Google won't find Truk. You have to name a specific island to get the right area. Strange to think that as famous as Truk Lagoon is that Google ...

I know for sure that the 51B's were used in China. My brother-in-law flew one in China, Got a couple of kills. My image is his squadron patch.

RE: japanese radar again

<t> My understanding is that the problem with the Type 13 is that they forgot to give it a penetration factor like the other radars for detecting aircraft. Thats why when a Jap BF upgrades from sound detectors to radar they get worse at raid detection since the sound detectors have a better ...

RE: POLL: How many of you would convert to WitP v1.602 BETA from "regular" v1.60?

Already upgraded mine. Had to get rid of a ghost. It worked. Now my partner on the other hand still has one. Will see if it clears up this turn.

<t> The AF museum at Wright/Patterson in Dayton Ohio has a B-36J on display in a hanger with a whole lot of other aircraft. Must have been 15 or 20 minutes before I realized that I was walking around under a plane which was the B-36J. I was busy looking at the other planes they had parked under it ...

RE: Tony range

<t> All my references indicate the Ki-100 using the Ha-112 on the type I and the Ha-112 Ru on the Type II. What's interesting is that everything I'm reading indicates that the Ki-100 and the Ki-84 were an even match with the P51-D and the P47-N. They both came on too late to have any real affect on ...

RE: Tony range

It all really depends on what books and models were used to make the base for the game, I've got books showing anywhere from 373 miles to 1181 miles with a 684 in the middle, with a production of 2500 to 3000 planes of different versions.

Should I be worried about this

<r> I have a Scenario 16 PBEM going and it's like 3/23/42 and I just noticed that I have 2 Zero Daitai that appears as follows in the screen capture Should I figure that these 2 units are just long range Claude's or will they really fight as Zeros with the 20MM canons. This unit is one that got shot ...

I know the 18 limit is also in Scen 16, My PBEM game on this one ran into the limit. We are agreed not to only have 9 each

RE: WitP Utility - beta available.

Thanks, Reseting the font size solved the displaying incorrectly. I had forgotten that some private done programs will not work correctly with large fonts. Us poor glasses wearers like large fonts with the less strain on the eyes.

RE: WitP Utility - beta available.

Just used our game to fill out the window as that was the only one I could guarantee I know the save slot on. Since I'm messing around with a mod against the AI thought I would try the utility. Now just have to figure things out.

RE: WitP Utility - beta available.

<r> Ok, that worked, Thanks Bodhi. That was a weird problem to have. Here's another shot of what it looks like when you try to edit the opponent. Again there are no double arrows to resize the window. Have you updated your download recently to where you could have gotten a bad version accidently put ...

RE: WitP Utility - beta available.

<r> The problem is that the incomplete "Game Editor" window will not widen to let me see the rest of the window. The size it is at is what it is. That is why I'm having problems. The incomplete screen prevents me from clicking on anything that is on the main screen in the background. To be clear. I ...
