Movement orders cancelled

I thought that Enemy units moving into your Hex would not cancel out distance travelled. Such that a small unit can stop a large moving force after it enters its hex.
I know this was frustrating in WITP Thought it was fixed in AE.[&:]

Base Engineers

Can anyone tell me what is the best operating mode for engineers to upgrade an airfield or a port. Rest and Training, Reserve, or does it matter. It takes an awfully long time to build up an airfield I would like to make sure the engineers arn`t sitting on there duffs.[:D]

<t> Playing the Coral Sea against my long time PBEM partner. I am Japan. I was able to join my CVs into one TF escorted with assorted Warships. I sent this TF towards Cooktown,in hopes of intercepting the Allied CVTF. I had also assembled a Surface Action force consisting of Cruisers and DDs and set ...

First turn for sale

Just had a thought, and yes it hurt. This game is so immense, and the first turn is mind boggling. I think it might just be worth paying someone to set it up for you.

Las Vegas

What a map, it even has Vegas on it although I think it should have an Entertainment value as well as Light Industry Value. Also has Regina which I believe is where the uranium came from for the bomb. Does this mean if the Japs can attack and destroy it then no A-Bombs[:D]

I need a life

It is 7 am here and I could be in bed snuggled up to the Wife and or Girlfriend. But nooo
here I am with some 100 other guys I don`t know, waiting for a game release, that will render the wife superfluous to my needs. It is sad.

Just wondering about this. If Japan does really well in the game would it not be possible for her to build other war machines. IE Ships not historically built. I guess this would be for a wishlist post.[:D]

Is Esquimalt Harbour on Vancouver Island on the map. We did have a rather large drydock here during the war, big enough to take the Hood if I remember.
