RE: Air Strike Boxes

Hello Oberst,

Olympic scenario. The US performs a lot of airstrikes (20 to 30 each turn). I have detailed combat reporting off.

Air Strike Boxes

Is there a way to turn off the airstrike boxes? I am tire of pressing the "continue" button in the box.

Michael T,

I am afraid it does not significantly change with age. My kids are 18 and 22 and they are still prone to getting into situations that keep me up at night far too often.

All jokes aside, Enjoy!

RE: Will you keep playing after this patch?

<t> Of the two public AARs, one was a draw (but should have been a German minor victory in my opinion, lasting to the bitter end of turn 225 with Berlin still held) and the other looks likely to be a German minor victory. Shouldn't we wait for some more data before claiming one side has an "easy ...

Good to see you in another AAR. Maybe at various times (after the summer 41 campaign, after blizzard, at 1 year) would you comment in differences that you are seeing between the AI behavior between this version and older ones? That would be very interesting.<br/>

Seminole,

I think this will be a great game to watch. One that does not follow the standard prescription of turn 1. This will provide some valuable insights I am sure!! Good luck to you both.

Nice catch at Kharkov. Will you post updates to those nice spreadsheets? Those are great for a numbers freak like me.

Excellent tests. I did some more testing today as well in the 1942 campaign game with new Russian builds (10 units) and did not see any morale gains larger than 3 per turn. A German infantry division sitting near OKH did get up to a morale of 59 20 turns after reaching 50 ...

I did get one of the infantry divisions up to a morale of 76. Since I only ended at 10 successful combats, I do not know if anything higher than 76 can be reached. If the rulebook is accurate, that would imply morale of 90 and maybe higher should be reachable by elite ...

RE: German Moral gains broken in 1942 or is this by design??

I did reload and run several times, and did get different end morales after 10 successful combats (75,76,75). This is definately a small sample, so your mileage may vary.

Emir,

I really like the yellow markups on your maps. It works quite nicely with my poor vision and color-blindness. I am only a noob, but this looks like a great start. I will be watching with great interest.
