sea units & movement

<t> I read that fleets have a range of 12 and subs have 8 movement points. Can they really go that far in one turn or is this the total range untill they have to return to a port for further supplies? Hard to imagine that a feet could go from UK to India in one turn and subs would already make it ...

RE: Torpedo attack

<t> Just to clarify: units attack ship twice, i.e. in a "traditional" attack and a torpedo attack. So the following question is: Can ships only fight back the "traditional" attack which would mean two possibilities to attack, but only one to defend? Btw, it would be hard to imagine that a topedo ...

Torpedo attack

Planes, ships and submarines seem not only to have a (different) attack values against each other, they also have another "torpedo" attack-value. Could someone explain the difference between a "normal" and a "torpedo" attack?

Tank blitz

A mechanized unit (tank) can attack a territory that is 2 spaces away. OK, but do you have to take the territory between first to attack the further away territory or can you blitz (without attacking) the adjacent territory?

<t> Well, this is a strategy game and not a history simulation. I find that game already very, very "realistic" (supply, draw of territories, "frozen" allies, combat values of units) even the so called "trigger events" (if ..., then ...). But the automatismns they created in the game (Vichy and ...
