RE: I know its too late to ask about new features

Yeah I kind of figured that was old territory that had been worked on. Never hurts to ask ! Now If was just a left-handed mouse user it would be easier I think.... :D

Enlarging text/icons

<t> First of all, glad to see this is still being developed (was a beta for awhile loooong ago) until health/family/Real Life intervened. Kudos ! So I plunked my money down to support and fired up the game in many, many moons.<br/>

<t> Anything that helps manage the counter-crush (which occurrs late game) would be greatly appreciated. By mid-43 the strat bombing campaign is usually in full swing, with lots of planes/escorts etc (if it is not, the Allies better be on the ground attacking Germany/Italy hard or the Soviets will ...

RE: MWIF Game Interface Design

<t> I hope that the ability to name TF is up to the player (e.g. he can type his names in as needed- I tend toward more non-pretty names like "Escort for Central Med" or some such to remind me of what that TF is for) and the fixed names are for flavor only. IMHO having a fixed counter-set to name TF ...

If you buy the boardgame version of WiF, with all the expansion modules (Convoy's in Flames, etc.), you'll spend a tad more than $80.00.

RE: A randomized MWiF Global War

Even if you had to disable the AI in order to do this, it would be a truly neat to be able to do a free-for-all. Not balanced, but then again, other than Chess, what in life IS balanced perfectly ? :)

Congratulations on those who got selected. I'm still on the outside looking in, but I am looking forward to a great game by Origins next year (indeed, without me "helping", I expect it to be even better [:)])

RE: Beta Testers Screen shots

<t> I think the most time-consuming part of the game (at least for the 1st year or two until the counter crush becomes large) for CWIF was planning production and setting/resetting convoy lines. If there was a way to screw that up, I am sure to find it and bring my CW production down to a screeching ...

RE: MWIF Game Interface Design

I like the way the TF screen is working out, as that was one of my biggest problems with CWIF. I have an opponent who I know will name his TF things like "Fluffy Bunny Muffins" and such because he knows that it irks me so. Ah, the psychological part of MWIF comes to the fore...... [:)]
