RE: Impressions after Soviet Win

<r> <QUOTE><s>
</s>ORIGINAL: Capitaine<br/>
There is no AP cost for combat, nor for disengaging with the enemy. It's my opinion that there is simply too much movement available after combat. But I guess such is the cost of an effective AI?<e>
</e></QUOTE>

RE: AG review...a step to order the the game if...

<t> What I think many fail to understand is that a scenario from SSG it's not a simple hack job. It's an accurate Order of Battle, finely researched. It's an artistically depicted historical map. It's an artificial intelligence system adapted for the scenario, that actually tests the player skills ...

You've got only one action to make with your units in a turn so knowing what kind of movement penalty represents a detachment would help deciding in which case I better keep my action capability for entrenching instead [:)] <br/>

Small bug in the Order of Battle Screen

<t> While playing Kharkov I found a small cosmetic bug in the Order of Battle screen. Once an alert unit is triggered by the capture of a victory location, it stops writing "alert" under its counters, and it should write "oma", to indicate that the unit is awaiting to be assigned.<br/>

My LCD is set up at 1680x1050 and I just run the game full panel. Yes, the aspect/ratio is slightly distorted, but I rather have that than two ugly black bars on each side.

<t> Since the Battlefront system allows for units to be reintroduced in the game after being eliminated, it basically simulates what you are asking for. That is, if I own a gun battery that has been eliminated after a counter-battery action, I may be able to reinsert it in the map through an OMA ...

I'm proud of having paid for what is probably the best operational wargame available in the market.

I'll make sure I buy every single product that SSG releases in the next decade. The more I study the system, the more I like the logic and soundness of its rules.

<t> It means that you'll need 4 additional attack points to reach the next column value in CRT . That is, if your current attack is going to be at 1-3 odds, adding a unit to the attack that contributes at least 4 additional attack points will make the attack at odds 1-4.<br/>
