RE: Football Pro & Maximum Football

<t> I liked FB Pro 97 better than 98. Gameplay just seemed better to me; simmed results seemed more accurate. The MaxFB PDS is certainly more detailed than FBPro, but it is too big a learning curve. I only created a handful of plays for FBPro - I haven't really created any for MaxFB - too ...

RE: Front office Football

<t> Totally different types of games. FOF is a text management sim. Draft, sign free agents, basically assemble teams like a GM. MaxFB is a graphical game, with the option for arcade play, much like Front Page Sports Football Pro used to be. I think in FOF you can call plays (I have not bought FOF ...

Hack, I have enjoyed your playbooks but I have some suggestions.<br/>
<br/>
First and foremost, on pass plays change your OL blocking. If you give them move to commands and then pass block commands to form a pocket around the QB, you get much ...

Very brave of you to ask . . . at this point, I would be afraid David would throw something at the questioner!! The mind does wander with the possibilities of the other sports though. Maybe Matrix can loan David some programmers?

RE: OT: EA abandons PC Football - no Madden '09 for PC

<t> While I hate to see options shrink, this is not necessarily a bad thing. All Madden for PC has been for some time now is a console port with no effort to use the unique capabilities of the PC. I am always tempted to buy Madden (mostly because I am tempted to buy any football and hockey game for ...

RE: Maximum-Football 2.2 Update (March 15, 2008)

I agree with Scott_WAR, I would probably not pay for a graphics enhancement or more stadiums. However, I would be fine paying for additional features, like GM-type things (especially trades), Hall of Fame and All-Pro selections, etc.

RE: [UTILITY] Max FB Database Editor v 1.7.0

<t> Hi JD,<br/>
<br/>
Sorry, I was not clear on what I was saying. I love that we can filter out a general grouping (say QBs with accuracy of over 80 and pass strength of over 80), but I was wondering if we could then order the resulting list, say by the highest accuracy, for example. In other ...

RE: [UTILITY] Max FB Database Editor v 1.7.0

<t> I finally got a chance to take 1.7.0 out for a spin. Once again, great work, JD!! First, let me commend you on having a program I could actually get to work on the first try! Just a few suggestions. On the player search, I would love if we could sort by one thing, then by another (so, for ...
