RE: 1.801 - Game Crash

<t> I uninstalled my game and reinstalled from scratch. I still had the problem so a missing art file is not the problem. I called my US counterpart and had him cut the PT TF from 12 boats to 2 six boat TFs. This allowed me to process the turn by hitting the done button as soon as the naval battle ...

RE: 1.801 - Game Crash

<t> I have just encountered the same problem. I am the Japanese invading Canton Island and the US has PT boats defending. The game crashes to desk top during the naval battle. On the previous turn I could hit the done button during the battle and avoid the crash but this turn it does not help at all ...

RE: Dividing and recombining units

<t> I am having the same problem. Playing the Japanese, stock game, scen 15, version 1.801. At an island base I have four divisions, some of which have the option to divide and some do not. I have very few units that are divided in my game. Since some can and others can't there must be some criteria ...

RE: Japanese Production

<t> Yes you have to move both. Drop them off at any of the main ports on the main Japanese Islands and the AI will move them around as needed. The island in the north will need a its own drop of oil as the AI will not send any there but you only need to do that once every several months. That island ...

RE: CL Richmond safe! No...CL Richmond sunk

You should always have your Japanese counterpoint send you the Combat Report text file in addition to the replay. The text file is going to be a more accurate account of what happened. Not as much fun to read it compared to watching the replay but at least the information will be better.

RE: carrier ops point

One thing that will eat up Op points is refueling. Alway set your CV TFs on Do Not Refuel as it is a very bad thing to use up Op points in refueling and then not have enough to launch an airstrike.[:@]

RE: A question on load values...

<t> From the invasion fleets I have formed up so far I have found that the 1500/3000 capacity APs will load 33% of thier capacity in one turn. For some reason the 4500 capacity AP will only load 22% of its capacity. The 3500/7000 capacity AKs will load 40% of thier capacity in one turn. So, with ...

RE: Heavy Industried Points dropped

<t> I too am playing the Darkside and from my viewpoint we have enough AK/APs to last the war. We need TK/MLE/AR/AOs from our Merchant Shipyards. Turn off all the AK/APs and shut down the vast majority of your shipyards until you burn some of those pool points up. You will be amazed how fast your HI ...

<t> The number outside of the brackets is how many points you are producing per turn. The number within the bracket is you current pool total. If you accelerate a ship the first number will remain the same but the pool points will change.<br/>

<t> Was it just sitting someplace or did you air transport it? My paras are all still in the fight as of 6/41 and I use them fairly often. Each unit has made at least one drop and the 1st Para has made four or five. I am always careful never to use enough aircraft to move the entire unit in one drop ...
