New one...for me

<t> Hi,<br/>
<br/>
In my RHS game, I had a US DD involved in a collision, and it has damage of 3-3-94. The DD is in a TF with 5 other DDs and 2 CL. The TF did not move after the turn cycled. Now that I'm looking at the TF screen it says Moves m/c (1,0). The damaged DD says max speed 3 (0) and ...

RE: Beta File 11.26a

<t> I do have 1124.<br/>
<br/>
1126b has everything from 1126a? That would be great and expected, though the last page of one of the top threads in Tech Support makes me wonder. The thread title is:<br/>

Beta File 11.26a

<t> Hi,<br/>
<br/>
Having trouble getting the beta file 11.26a. Matrix has redone their website (looks great) but when I go to the product page to get the beta file it asks for a login and product SN. Am happy to do that, but I cannot login with my forum ID, and perhaps my forum ID can't be used ...

RE: CAP vs Escort Results

<t> Back, and thanks to all the vets for chiming in. No more need for secrecy as this was the final straw in a very long Scenario 1 PBEM game between four players. Myself and my oldest buddy Daniel as the Empire versus two brothers doing the Allies. Though in five years of real time we only got to ...

RE: CAP vs Escort Results

<t> And here's the combat report from the Americans' strike on my CV. My CAP overwhelmed the Wildcats, and there is an interesting note towards the bottom of the combat report about Zeros vectoring to the bombers. I attributed this to my Zeros crushing the Wildcats, but maybe there is more to it ...

RE: CAP vs Escort Results

<t> Thanks, and you are right I unintentionally left out a lot of details and should have included the full report. This was the first and only strike my from my CV.<br/>
<br/>
Strike altitude was 12k, and all groups were operating at that elevation. There were 11 fighter groups capable of ...

RE: CAP vs Escort Results

<t> True my Gorn friend. They are good on CAP, and I didn't have any problems with them being good at CAP or losing the Kates.<br/>
<br/>
But I didn't understand how the animation showed that I still had 150 Zeros to his 80 Wildcats, and they slipped through. I asked all the squadron commanders to ...

RE: Change PBEM Password?

I can't believe I'm asking this but could you do a screen shot? I don't see it. Am using the latest patch but not the beta if that makes a difference.

CAP vs Escort Results

<t> Stock scenario 1.<br/>
<br/>
In a recent CV battle it looked like I still had plenty of escorts for my bombers, but the defending CAP got thru and hit the Kates pretty hard.<br/>

It's a PBEM. March 43. Here's a chop from my combat report.<br/>

Change PBEM Password?

Hi,

I did some searching for a thread I thought existed about how to change your PBEM password. Is there a way?

Thanks,
Scott

I don't post much but have been here for over a decade. Awesome game. If you like the WW2 and turn based games this is the holy grail. And the forum support is beyond comparison.

Clarifications

<t> Hi,<br/>
<br/>
Typically play stock scenario 1, but I suppose these questions might be pertinent for several scenarios:<br/>
<br/>
1) Usually load oil at Brunei rather than Miri because the Brunei port is bigger which results in the oil 'stockpiling' at Brunei between pickups. Brunei is ...

RE: Allied Aircraft Prod and Replacement Rates

<t> Thanks GP. I didn't check the editor. I went by the in game aircraft database. Will check on the end date later in the editor. But to the question about replacements. Let's say the P-38E is available from May - Oct 42, will the Allied player get 24 per month from May - Oct? Not trying to make it ...

RE: Allied Aircraft Prod and Replacement Rates

<t> Yes. Thanks I see that now on the aircraft data screen.<br/>
<br/>
The P-38E is available for one month in 5/42.<br/>
The P-38G is available from 10-42-5/43.<br/>
The B-24J does not have an end date.<br/>
<br/>
So the 20 production for the P-38G is only available from 10/42-5/43.<br/>

Allied Aircraft Prod and Replacement Rates

<t> Hi,<br/>
<br/>
Stock scenario 1, and I play the Empire. So that I understand the Allied juggernaut could someone verify the Allied aircraft production and replacement rates.<br/>
<br/>
Examples:<br/>
<br/>
P-38E. Available 5/42. No upgrade. Replacement rate of 24 planes per month. Since it ...

RE: Just a couple

<t> Thanks, and I really appreciate the game vets providing feedback.<br/>

I don't have any stockpiling turned on, and I had an emergency fuel run to another theater so the usual convoys weren't coming in. However there was plenty of fuel at two of my ports to run all the HI it just wasn't ...

Just a couple

<t> Hi,<br/>
<br/>
Stock scenario.<br/>
<br/>
When CV fighters use drop tanks, how does the game account for this? Does this use additional sorties, or is it a freebie?<br/>
<br/>
Aside from elevation is there any difference between fighters attacking at 100' vs 1000'? I ask because both ...

M10 Wolverines

Scenario 1 question, latest patch but no beta update. I have seen two US units (ID# 5136 and 5137) with Wolverines arriving in May 42. Records indicate production didn't start until Sept 42. Is this a database error, or am I missing something?

Thanks.
