AI of my allies

Started playing the 1943 campaign as Western allies and I noticed that the USSR leave fron line provinces (somlensek with just 1 infantry unit in addition it withdraws most of the military unit from the Baltic States to Moscow which is not a front line province. Is this a good strategy.

Put 7th fleet in Brisbane vs Sydney

Brisbane Port 9 versus Sydney Port of 10. Sydney has a repair yard which place better for 7 fleet. Brisbane closer to action. As as a Naval base for 1943 scenario which is better.

RE: Collisions and accidents

Landing craft and other smaller vessel should sink due to bad weather but the program has enough problem already. Collision would occur in large fleet operation as well.

Who upgrades from F4F-3 to F4f-4

For Carrier squadron
Is the increased firepower guns(18-12) and bombs worth decreased climb (2200 vs 1950) and mnvr (33-32). Also I have seen when checking out aircraft data in a squadron listing F-4F -4 bomb load of 2- 100 lb instead of 2-250 lb.

Use of Force Z?

Where best to use force Z (Prince of Wales and Repluse). Retreat to DEI (Java), retreat to Bay of Bengal, retreat to Australia, defend Malaya?

RE: Defend Lingayen over Clark Field

Lingayen has resources as well. Any Northern attack that uses the road net must come from Lingayen before Clark.

Willing to spend PP for better sub commander

In first part of war the S boat torpedoes are more reliable than fleet boats. Would you spend PP to replace non-aggressive S boat commander with more aggressive commander for these type of subs?

First defense in Philippines.
Is it better to defend Lingayen jungle terrain (x2 defense bonus) no fortification over Clark Field clear terrain fortification 4?

Supply/Fuel recover verus ship lost.

At what odds would you risk losing ship to recover fuel or supply? Base it on allies in 1941 and Japs in 1944/1945.
