RE: Battle at Rabual
To make things easier to read, I will only copy the interesting battles. 3 zeros whacking an empty island do not count.
For the last 2 days, virtually nothing...
The minor bits...
Small air skirmishing in China.
Some of my PH survivors at LA. Others moving to Seattle..
The really messed up BBS should get to SF in 4 days.
Cenpac being beefed up with AA units... More air units on the way
Pensacola waiting nervously at Tulagi for flooding to go down...Now at 39...Really needs a full week I think.......
Lae was taken...My Hurricanes and Beauforts just watched and drank afternoon tea.
He is slow taking some Western DEI open ports..Not much I can do there.
Has stopped Sing air attacks... That or just massive rain fronts have interfered..
No new land movement in China.
Jahore under attack....
Ground combat at Johore Bahru
Japanese Deliberate attack
Attacking force 74634 troops, 811 guns, 232 vehicles, Assault Value = 1568
Defending force 27369 troops, 231 guns, 0 vehicles, Assault Value = 586
Japanese max assault: 1436 - adjusted assault: 888
Allied max defense: 549 - adjusted defense: 485
Japanese assault odds: 1 to 1 (fort level 5)
Japanese Assault reduces fortifications to 4
Japanese ground losses:
1197 casualties reported
Guns lost 46
Vehicles lost 5
Allied ground losses:
531 casualties reported
Guns lost 41
Not much can be done about it[8|]

I am generally pleased at my lack of damage. He is taking stuff, but none too quickly.....
Cenpac being strengthened..Am thinking about beefing up PM, but I think I need to wait a month to be confident..Moving more stuff into NM (seems to make more sense...Need to build that up to level 4-5 forts by end of Feb......

Just the usual
Again pretty much status quo..Though lots of recon flights on N Borneo seemingly pinpointing that as his next target
Let`s see, excitement for today.
Pensacola flooding fell from 39 to 31.....Not bad at all....But really do not want to consider moving it unless it gets below 20...
PM planes were blocked by storms at Lae all day...Tons of bad weather these days..But it seems to be clearing..

Same old song
Jahore about to fall...
A small convoy taking out base troops took some pain at Singapore. But some ships will escape...
Pensacola 96-16......A couple of more turns and I can make my escape...
Starting to beef a PM a little...I know if he throws the kitchen sink at it it is a goner but I want him to burn up the time...
LBA and fighters flow into PH...Now being sent into deep cent pac and NM....NM starting to build up.
Day Air attack on TF, near Singapore at 23,50
He has moved into Pagan..Slowly he is infesting Burma.
China still quiet...Small airbattles, so not a perfect truce but I have seen no LCU movement on his part and my frontline troops and more importantly mobile reserves are pretty set. If he does not make a big push, I will let it lie there for quiet some time.

Also he seems to have a bunch of CAs south of Rabual...My guess is they are going to GG...In any case I am sending my CA/CL fleet to look for some trouble....

RE: AA Hell for Japan, More reamage at Mandalay
Nice going at Clarke field ! .. that will make you last a lot longer here.
Only bad idea of operating torp bombers from the PI will suck up supply you might need later on .. iirc the TIV's being FP might use less supply than beauforts .. but i may be wrong though. also they operate well from Manilla .. only need a level 2 for them rather than 4 iirc.
As for getting gamey 'nuggets' from singapore ,, don't worry if he's using empty PI bases for training .. well seems fair to me .. might be worth sending a BF nugget to australia rather than india as you will need AV support there much more that India.
Yup AA in Nik mod really teaches japan the differance from armoured and unarmoured A/C .. not only the old DB's but Lilys will drop out of the sky before he upgrades them to helens or sallys.
also much better now you don't just cut and paste the entire combat report.. much better presentation . nice
ooh almost forgot .. good luck !

I understand your point about supply and the TBs...It is only a one off raid..Maybe done one more time...The point is to keep him offbalance...
He can close down Clark easily so I do not want to keep planes there..Just a bit of hit and run.
Most of PI nuggets are in Aussie...But your point is well taken..Especially given
he is not pushing China. And I am more than happy to let dead dogs lie there. While he can always in theory start attacking, between the level 9 forts and a lot of movement on my part, any going there will be long and slow (unless he does heavy strategic bombing).
Am a bit surprised he has done nothing with the KB...While boring, he could send it through the DEI and I would have to flee...It would not bother me too much but doing nothing with it seems a bit strange...Anyway, Cenpac islands being built up....Getting forts above level 3 takes an annoying long amount of time.

rest...lots of rest and a good leader (with good administration skills)
Reason i asked was, Morale directly impacts the casualties you inflict on your opponent. If they are tanked...your not going to hurt him as much.
RE: Singapore under attack
I replaced Percival with a semi decent leader..Not one of the better ones as I do not wanted a good leader captured. My guys are not attacking so hopefully that helps them rest....However, that does not stop the IJA from annoying them....
