Not really. The low point is reached when you send such garbage by PM instead of on an open forum. Why wasn't this posted for all to read by the original sender? Thinking that doing so would result in a ban? PMs like that can get the sender banned as well. Just like the last time.

I'm not surprised your missing the point.

Are your lives that narrow and pathetic that all you have to worry about is what Slaak posts here? That's a lot of anger for such a trivial thing.

It's an internet forum, for God's sake. Very, very low on the priority list.

Do you really think I care how you guys feel about each other or your

endless personal attacks towards each other.
Especially how you interact with each other in private.

My concern is censorship.
I don't like it.
Not here, not at the state level, not anywhere.

I'm not interested in your petty squabbles, but I am little disturbed about

the tactics you use in trying to invoke it.

You guys obviously can't seem to get along with each other, but neither of

you are man enough to step away long enough to end it,thus completing the

circle of hate.

If Slaak was trying to get you banned or censored then I most likely would

be in your corner instead of his right now.

Wasn't that the whole point and purpose of this little charade of a mental melt down Gary.
You felt insulted and wanted Slaak banned because of it.
I read your posts and it was obvious to me from the beginning what your intent was.

Your a dirty player.I'll be watching you.
I'm pretty sure you won't be happy till everyone here joins your communal communist group think and we all only think the way you want us to think.
It seems to me you are far to sensitive and immature for any kind of internet discourse.

Oh! Well, I got my eye on all of you, but since it's 20/500 I don't think it will help any in catching any of you lot doing anything wrong!!

Dane49,

Banning Slaak from the forum is ultimately not my goal. Getting him to give up on his conspiracy nonsense is. People read his posts. Someone out there is bound to believe that his posts represent some kind of deep knowledge about the workings of the world. Yes, it's OK to be silly or confused and post such nonsense once in awhile. But Slaak keeps posting and posting and he seems to truly believe in what he is posting. He'll argue with you to no end when you respond critically to his posts. He seems determined to get others to believe the same nonsense. The WTC was an inside job? Really?? Then the US basically staged a hoax just so we could go into Iraq and end up killing many Iraqis in retaliation for what we did to ourselves. It's like me hitting myself in the nose and then hitting you saying, "Dane49 you should not have hit me on the nose". It completely removes any possibility that the US was justified AT ALL in invading Iraq (a whole other debate, yes). That's a dangerous thing to play around with. It's going to stir even more hatred and resentment toward the US. If it's true then the hatred and resentment is deserved.

I may get flamed for this but I am sorry Gary you are really way off the mark.
Slaak has his beliefs and although airing them in a public forum is often not the best place, especially when the forum rules dictate otherwise but to me it comes across that is like his own personal religion, religious folks go door to door, preach to those that do not want to hear it, so what do you do? You ignore it or learn more about it and then join in with the discussion on an equal footing not slap them down and say you will not speak of the subject, that just comes across very Pontius Pilate to me.
Having said that I do think that Slaak goes about his observations in the wrong way, he fires off shots and then sits back and waits for the fallout, I would be naive to think that all these theories being thrown about are without some semblance of truth, no matter how small.I think that the topics that Slaak presents should discussed properly, with there own forum thread where others can join in, regardless of which side they are on. Whether the Matrix forums is the right place to do that is not for anyone to say but the moderators, Slaak has an interest in the same types of games we all enjoy here and I am sure we all have other interests that are not discussed here but if Slaak wishes to air his views then that is down to him and the moderators, as forum members we have the choice to just green button the chap or ride the wave, not ask for his silence or dismissal.
As for the PM's that I do totally agree with, Slaak should take the flak for that, that is uncalled for regardless of what instigated it, a public forum is just that, public. If you have something to say say it where your words can be heard, or read, PM's are for passing phone numbers, personal contact details etc not for insulting or berating someone.

Yeah, but he's been warned about his 9/11 nonsense before. Yet he continues.

Harassing people through PM was one of the reasons for his last suspension, yet he continues.

So how does it stop?

I'm not interested in your reasons or some of the other posters reasons for wanting Slaak banned or censored.

Censorship in any form is a dangerous thing to play around with.
We have laws in this country to protect people from the tyranny of censorship.
Censorship is something I would only expect in a totalitarian society, and as far as I know we haven't become one yet.

Slaak has rights like anyone else in this country and just because you don't believe what he writes doesn't give you the right censor him.

You elected yourself as some kind of dictator as to who should believe what and why in this forum.
Who are you and why should I care what you think.

I on the other hand am a grown adult and come to my own conclusions and I most definately do not need your help or guidance in reaching those conclusions about 911 or anything else and I especially don't need YOU to protect me from myself.
Yet for some reason you think I should only believe you and no one else because you think only you are right.Unexceptable!

After your little meltdown and insults to a female member of this forum,You most certainly do not qualify as a role model around here.
And I take your thoughts and ideas with the same grain of salt as Slaaks.

You self appointed dictators scare me more than Slaak.
Slaak just wants people to look at what he found, but you want to bury it and hide it.
Your idea sounds more sinister.

That's the best paragraph in the whole thread.
"I may not agree with what you say, but I'll defend, with my life, your right to say it." Anything else is just un-American. In all my life I have never heard a topic that can't, at least, be discussed.

Or have I got to get me a ten gallon hat, dodgy boots, a six shooter and a horse called Trigger to post around here??

It's an internet forum, for God's sake. Very, very low on the priority list.
Priority lists don't help if someone has intrusive obsessive thoughts. And it's easier for it on internet where there are more debates about truth and lies, good and evil and stuff like that and thus more conflicts related to these fundamental values.

Warspite, it is difficult to respect someone when others make fun of you. That cause them to look foolish to others. I got what I deserved when I was younger. I've forgiven all my trespassers but I will not forgive Slaak for making me look like an idiot trying to argue against his nonsense. Does that make sense?
warspite1

But Gary we are on the internet - you don't know these people. Just ignore them - don't try and reason with people like that.
Technically speaking nowadays internet communities/quittances are often much more stable and long lasting than local ones due to people staying in them even if they physically move or change their job or whatever and thus in a way more "real".

This is not the Athenian Agora. This is a PRIVATE place. It belongs to Matrix, so the rules they implement is THEIR business [;)]

And anyways, the right to say whatever you want... does it include grotesque threats too? I mean, where do you draw the line in the sand? If yes, doesn't that make you a dictator too? [:D]

Now let's start:

"I'im gonna rob your wife!"
